anyone here using this? my local shop recomended this at 44bucks a bottle, i went out and got it cus i noticed a tiny bit of browning on my roots, after adding it with a fresh rez yesterday, i am shocked to see the brown more pronounced and on every clone!not slimey but a nice brown tint and the clones look a lil sluggish today...i am so broke and it killed me to go for that much but he had nothing else can anyone give me a helping hand, perhaps theres some homemade solution to keeping my roots white

heres a pic, i found my old cam, plz note that only 3 out of 12 net pots had a hair here and there that were brown, this was yesterday, all of my roots were bright white i iwhs my teeth were that white, now ALL roots are this color i am sick cus i am so dependant on these clones for my next crop i cant wait another 4 months starting from seed

I wish I could help more, but I will tell you that I had the same trouble in rockwool and ebb and flow. I was using fox farms Nutrients and Used the Hygrozyme for about 2 weeks. According to the Grow Store Dude, that was the best stuff in the world. I eventually gave up the Organics for some Chemical Nutes and began using H2o2 as described by AlBFuct. This seemed to have helped a little for the roots. They started growing new white growth but most of the old brown had to be cut away. It stunted them a week or 2, but they survived. My theory was it was caused by underwatering or High Res Temps, but still not sure. Good luck Man!!

i have been told many differing cycles for my aero-tub, some said leave one 24/7 and some gave me a sched for flood and drain, so i took it 15mins on, 30mins off, i have tried 15on/45off and 24/7 and it seems all the same, my water temp is 72-74, can anyone recomend a good spray schedule>>> they are being sprayed with e-z clone misters...as i have it under 24hour lighting i am doing the 15/30 cycle

i also use H2o2 i was originally making my own dilluted 3%mix but now i just ad 2ML/gal...i would hate to lose these babies they are growing so fast and this is my first go around with aero, i also have built a aero system from the Fact with the 6inch PVC tubes for when the babies get larger, i cant wait to get that rig up and going, i got about 3 more weeks till my space is free from my soil gro

I use the 35% H2o2 at 7 ml per gallon every 4 days, seems to be working for now. and started the one time treatment at 15 ml per gallon.
I believe my biggest problem is plugging pumps back in!!

anyone else? i really need a hand, my temps rez Temp is 68F, the babies are looking underwatered and saggy, well atleast the largest oldest fan leaves of the clones are saggy, by the way anyone here recommend a good spray schedule? its at 15on/30off

Best thing to do is buy some rhizotonic and add do another fresh water change, this time use only Rhizo and Hygro, do this for 5 days, then change the water again and use nutes with rhizo and hygro, you'll notice roots, nice bone white roots growing like never before. I promise you

What do you mean you were making your own? Did you purchase 35% H2O2 and dilute it to 3%, but then switched to undiluted 35% at 2 ml/gal?

I was not 100% cleat on what you are doing.

ok heres the issue and its a doooozy, to answer the h2o2, yes i was using 35% dilluting to 3%, as for temps my temps in the am when the 400watter is off...my small rez shares space with a room which is in flower, ok moirning temps were bouncing around froom 68-74 and i checked again twice today and it was 78, this the issue, way too warm in there now i have arrived at another problem, no matter what i have to find an economical way to keep that water cool, any ideas? im short on funds and i have a home depot credit card which has been coming up big for me, my only other alternative is taking these little babies and sticking them in soil, but i swear i will never go soil again after the growth i have seen in 2 weeks and i have built a nice aero system so i am 100% commitied to aero grows........i need a way to get that water under control without having to throw ice in it 10 times a day...its only 10gallons in a rubbermaid tub and lid with a pvc sprayer manifold under it and space is too tight, the tub is partitioned and has its own ventilation away from the larger flowering plants, i need help ! major reps for the guy who can help me economically

Do you have an airstone in your cloner? They might not be getting enough air.

As far as times, I've heard 1 min on 5 mins off is a good schedule for most aeroponics. If your roots are going brown that would be a sign of over watering to me, not under watering....especially if they get sprayed every half hour for 15 mins....

what do you guys think, i cant afford to lose these clones as i am depending on my next harvest, should i throw them in soil? what if my roots dont bounce back, can i cut them at the stems and re clone?

I do not know about a cheep cooler, of course if you had cold air you could run the water through some thin glass tubes to cool it. But that is not to practical.

Are you using any additives? It seems like just H2O2 and salt based nutes should do it. If it is a pathogen more H2O2 should kill it. What is in your nutrient tank exactly? I think we can fix this with out an expensive chiller.

wow this works for you, i never tried but always wondered. This time setting would help keep my red water temp lower, right now its at 70F-73F, i'd like it to stay around 65-68F.

So when you do 15/45 are you on aero?

Do your plants seem to grow slow?

are you using any air stones to keep the water moving during the off period?

more info would be great, i just built my aero system and am still looking to perfect it.

That to me seems like a more ideal time if you have only a 15 minute interval timer! I'm no pro by far, but I swear every thread I've read about problems with roots not growing or turning brown has been a lack of oxygen, over-watering or over fertilizing too soon.

For myself, KISS has been a lifesaver! I made a DIY drip system and my problem was....overwatering! I had to force myself to go from 11 drips a day to just 5 and the plants loved it.

i am using 10ML dyna-gro Grow which about 66% of label and just h2o2, air stone and now the hygrozyme, under the current conditions, my roots and plants were thriving for 3 weeks with bright white roots, rez temp fluctuates from 68-76 cus it shares a room with flowering plants, although it is partitioned and the AM temps are ideal, rez gets its warmest at night, my whole grow space temp is 78-80 and thats with excellent ventilation.....as of right now i just changed the rez again, i gave all my eqiupment and rez a hot bath with a high dose of H2O2, i have read the o2 kills germs, so we have only a small dose of o2 running with the hygrozyme
