My 35 day old mid-grade plants- any suggestion

lol yea im new to growing, i used to sell "tomatoes" after id eat the tomatoes id throw the seeds into the gravel, i lived in the florid keys with a really warm tropical climte belive it or not i had 3 3 foot plants growing out the ground naturally i transplanted them inside and eventually i got locked up and friends got rid of it, i then in the winter of 06 tried a closet grow without germinating the mid grade seeds in small paper pots with a 250 watt halogen light less then 6 inches away from them and a small fan running, way to hott didnt even get a single sprout, to bright stopped the grow, so this is my 3rd grow and officially the 1st one ive ever put any real effort into, do u think the 42 watt cfl will help turn my plants around
 
dude im not 17 i was bein saracastic cuz he was callin me kid, i know, u have to be 18 yrs of age to use this site, i am over 18 years of age, i am a grown mature adult capable of learning knowledge....thankyou

dude, If i were you I'd try getting something to put your plants in, Like a grow box, so when you bud your plants they dont stink the shit out of your closet/room/whole house. Cause yah.. I just got some expert advice from an expert grower parsay... and probialy in good time I just think i gotta warn you so you dont get caught again man. try the 250 watt again but place it further.. and germination is a key process if you want a better success rate... so far that i have found. and when it comes try growing the bulb about 10in. away from the plant after about maybe 3 day germination... check on 3 days. maybe sometimes sooner, but yah try that and make sure your soil's all aOK and shit so maybe it'll work out a bit better for you this time alright man.
 
yh ive changed all my posts just wanted to give the kid a heads up ive seen many people banned from that stupid mistake and yeah the 42 watt cfl should be nice but i think if you restarted you would have alot better plants what do you think ?
 
well im watchin blow right now with gf and friends so i dont have much time for the post. but yea i hope the 42 watt helps and i will purchase another one tommarow for dual 42 watt cfls....but the 250 watt halogen is too dam hottttt!! it sux really its not even worth it really... but umm thanks for the advice and thanks for deletin the age post
 
rofl...yes halogens are not worth it. they really have a lot of strength in the red spectrum but not for vegetative.

Keep it up gp420!! I too am a first time indoor grower.Im using a 400 watt hps in a closet (we call them wardrobes over here!) I've managed to toast them twice so far,overwater them,and nearly freeze them to death with my new fan system!! We live & learn,as long as we learn....
 
lol,yes,when we finished colonizing you and left,we forgot to leave a book of the Queens English with you.You chaps have come up with all sorts of funny names since then!!!

12/12 for the first bit but if he wants it to grow fast after the first 3 weeks I'd suggest switchinhg to constant light... it allows your plants to make more food, faster and its ables you to harvest your plants faster. I used a tiney bit of miricle grow, but i hear thats bad for ganja plants so I'd reccoment getting acctual plant nutrients... Miricle grow worked fine on my plants, but there was sich a risk of me killing my plants i didnt know of

I meant for the flowering cycle, He should start it when the plant is VERY short, due to the lack of lighting. :blsmoke:

Yeah growing passion, a 400W HPS kicks out a bit of heat,get one, and screw some hooks into your wardrobe's ceiling, thread some wire though the holes in your reflector, and away you go.

Based on what you told me in that pm, I think your best bet is to stick with cfls for the time being, If you need a better explanation lemme know and I'll pm, as to not discuss your person situation here.:mrgreen:
 
why would i thread wires through the reflector? huh? and um i got a small humidifier with the fan all the way up will it be enough to cool it, i dont have that much room what is the smallest wattage powered one i can get the gives off the least heat and does the best.
 
Get some floros man if ur gonna keep those plants u need to basicly start over from seedlings on their life cycle there 40 + days and they look 2 weeks old . keep your cfls on 24/7 for a couple weeks theyl stand up without that FORK lol then once there a decent size u should have saved up enough to get a decent light and flower em
