Thanks T. I'm pretty happy with how this grow is turning out, except for the thrips. That cabinet stays pretty much where it is, facing the one of the two tents. It also acts as a divider in the room and tucks it away some. This room is in the process of becoming my man cave. I'm picturing black lights, velvet posters and lava lamps, to start.

Well folks, it's official. They decided to give me a passport and allow me to travel. Come in the mail today. The road to The Cup begins on the 9th and I'll be posting updates as I, and then we, make our way to CC25. What makes this so great for me though is how on board and excited my wife is for me. It's a chance of a lifetime and she knows that and is encouraging me to have a great time, and I mean, have a great time, should the opportunity arise, ;) Nudge, nudge!

Duch, not to change the subject, but i love how you are already second guessing the light fixture. Why get 4 when you can get 8! hehe I'd see if they will take an exchange, worth a phone call.

Honestly, I didn't even consider it until it was brought up, and even then... I'm very close to 20 years now and frankly, with my wife, I don't need to. You know that joke about birth control for men? Being married for 10 years. Not to brag, but if I didn't step up with the big V, I would still be proving that wrong and the Amish boys around here would have nothing on me. :hump:

Nah, really, I was kidding about that. lol I don't like to stir the pot...too much...but this is my thread so...I think all things considered, HID is not the way to go. The extra energy spent discharging the extra heat created crosses out any gain in lumens, etc. More counter productive. Besides, it's only for me and my very close friends so 200W is just fine. There's still people out there lighting up their bathrooms with that much wattage.

I'm also pretty stoned, and tired, so maybe I don't know what I'm talking about. Rented another van today picking up furniture again. In the morning it's loading up some old stuff that's going to the Sally Ann before the van goes back, then that's it! I'm done running around and my body's feeling it. Pretty painful to grip anything right now. Need to get my wife to help with things.

With that, I'm off to bed cause I'm up again at 7. Uhg!

I'm not much of an outdoors-man HC but you do live in a beautiful part of the world. I've never been out there but I've heart lots. My sister lived in upstate NY and I've been there, and that's gorgeous itself. I was hoping to hop down to Cali before heading to Europe but learned it may be an issue for me because of a slightly sullied past so I had to shelf that idea. But hey, if you ever to make that trip to Ottawa, (which believe it or not I've never been) I'd be happy to make the drive that way to meet you. About the other. If anything, I'll get some nice pics of some nice ladies to share with all my friends. There's absolutely nothing wrong in that, and it's safer. lol I'm sure Jig wouldn't mind posing with a few for ya's.

Edit. Of course we'll have to edit out Jigs face....for security and privacy reasons....of course.

I've seen jigs face, you may want to edit it out just so ya don't scare people lol ;) But that was with the beard jig old buddy, I think you've lost it since.

Absolutely duchie, if I ever make it back the Ottawa I'll let you know. We used to go to Montreal all the time to party when we were younger but as I got older I realized what a filthy city it was and the people are very unfriendly and don't really like us. Ottawa is the exact opposite. We've been there for the Tulip Festival a couple of times. Skating on the canals in the middle of the city is very cool too.

Don't take that personally HC. Montrealers hate us too, and my experiences there have not been great. If you'd like to try T.O on for size I can definitely show you around that town.

I've seen Jig too. He's not so bad for a short guy. lol

Well. Gotta load up the rental van with the donation stuff and get this thing back by noon so gotta run but I'll be back.

Hey hey hey! The beard is trim and I'm a healthy 5'10" when I stand up strait. If you watch the pic of yourself thread you would see I have trained with Bruce Lee.

In my old place in the beginning we had a huge master bath (well to me at least) we had 4 100 watters (incandescent) in there at our disposal. 2 switches each over a sink and each had 2 bulbs. We ran it like that for a while, but eventually it got reduced to 4 and then 2 (total) 23 watt cfls.

Well I think the first of 9 flowering is just about done. Strawberry Sour Diesel, starting 12/12 Sept 7 looks about 80% cloudy. I put her in the dark tonight. What do you guys think?IMG_0680 edit.jpg

Looks good to me. I'd say it's a good time. But then again, I usually pull things when it's convenient and within a week of when I would ideally like to harvest.

I think I can afford to pull one a little early anyway. Need something nice and cured for when I get back. This one has this really sweet minty smell to it that I can't get enough of. Speaking of sweet, the Deep Psychosis is really fruity smelling. Berry to be more precise. Maybe grape gum. Either way, it's really nice too and I might pull that one just before I leave. I think I'll pull the big fans off and hang the rest of the plant whole in my dark tent. Hopefully that way it won't dry out too much over the two weeks it'll hang there. Hopefully it doesn't dry out too much.
