So how important is light proofing

As far as light leaks I worry more about it hurting yield rather than it causing staminate flowers.

    Full indica question

Not specific to indicas. I've seen some plants just have a very slow stretch though where it will start buds before its quite done stretching.

    M.O.B.

Ya not bad. Smaller plants than I.usually flower but my flower room was almost empty. If.it doesn't hurt yield too much I may start filling it with smaller plants.

healthy clones transplanted - day 3 starting to wilt - too much nutes?

You can definitely burn plants with organics.. but it could be a lot of things, for instance it could be something as simple as them having a hard time getting used to the new environment (especially if your using a lot less light than the nursery). When you said "big clones" what does that...

    Favorite strains?

Nice, which blue cheese are you going with? I picked up female seeds blueberry cheesecake, but I haven't run it yet (working on cycling through a few of bomb seeds strains right now to phase out my m.o.b.)

    Nitrogen tox ?

I dont see signs of n toxicity but I.do see some very characteristic signs of heat stress. Maybe some undertones of too Much water as well. Don't take my word for it alone though wait and.see what other people say then use us as leads and do research...see what you come up with.

    Medical vs Recreational-please help define

I don't consider any strain to be strictly rec or medical... it all depends on the person. I know for my pain I need to have a high potency strain, I notice high thc content are especially good for night time pain because it tends to make me tired and be able sleep for a longer solid chunk...

    Favorite strains?

Yea its deffinirely worth a try. Like I was saying I like to let it go 14 weeks (I think ripper recommends 10) . She tends to be a heavy feeder compared to other strains I've run too. When you start em up give em a journal. I'll follow it.

    Favorite strains?

I've been real into grape gum from ripper seeds. Long flower period but I think its.my favorite I've ever grown cured out for 5 months and smells like a fruity bug spray almost and tastes amazing. Real potent too.. I let mine run for 14 weeks in.flower and when I phased it.out and replaced it i...

    reporting plant issues?

For me smart pots have been a pain to transplant out of because they haven't been getting root bound.. I personally like being able to dry out and flip a pot over and have it slide right out. With the smart pots I've had a hard time getting the soil and root mass out of the fabric in one piece...

    Predator Mites

Some species eat.pollen when their.isn't any prey around.. I've used a couple different species of.predatory mites (ordered through a local farm supply store) I don't remember the names of them but.one was quite large for a mite and bright bright red. The other looked more like a.dull version...

    Buds growing slow

Toss up some pics.. some strains take a hell of a lot longer than 8 weeks. Just an example I have a strain that I run 14 weeks in flower and I've seen other people run.strains longer than that!

Tutankhamon, Starkiller, Velvet Bud, Super Citrus haze, and Cherry bomb

Hmm interesting thought about seedling ph, may have to do.some expirimenting with some ancient bag seed (from around the 70s haha). I'm pretty sure that ffof is a peat based mix anyway, so basically I think you might be just cutting it a.bit (which I think it needs sometimes I usually cut with...

    Clone Question

Ya for.veg growth I.keep t5s within 5. Inches of the tops so that's much closer than the.recommendation on your led. And I'd say my clones root the fastest under 24/0 and they will throw flowers before they root sometimes on 12/12 (if the moms are mature) but distance to light has.never been a...

    Quick question about light watt

They will put off a little less heat than say 2x 90w and a single 20w. Think.of.it.this way.. when you have a lamp it uses the electricity to produce light and heat, so generally that's why the same wattage of "grow" lights will be somewhat similar in heat output because they are designed to be...

    Flushing with Mountain Dew

Definitely possible to extract with bacon grease! I did it.once just for shits, wasn't as good as my coconut oils but t definitely still worked. The hard part was finding ways to use it that didn't involve frying.

    Quick question about light watt

If your only.growing one.plant I'd say your better off using 10 20w cfls all around the plant giving no dark or shaded spots rather than using 2 90w bulbs. The wattage your using is the actual watts not the equivalent watts. Also the higher wattage cfls aren't as efficient as the low watt...

    Clone Question

I have em under t5 not led. But from what I've seen in led threads you keep them farther away than t5's anyway no? I'm just saying unrooted clones don't need much light at all. Hell ive rooted cuttings in a cup of water on a counter that wasnt even near any windows...
