I have also treated bud-rot in the past by cutting out the infected area(s) and it seemed to work just fine. So to the OP I would say don't worry too much about losing your harvest, but you still want to be diligent on keeping your ladies as happy and healthy as they can be.

I've gotten purple stems on a plant before and from my experience if there are no other symptoms and the only thing going on is your stems are turning purple then you should be good.

If it is a indica clone that is already a foot tall, then yeah, let it get nice and strong for a month or so. I only have seed experience, it may be different, my bad.
