A weed, as it is defined in the dictionary, is a wild plant growing where it is unwanted and competes for resources with cultivated plants. Cannabis isnt a weed, and acting as though you can grow good or even passable weed with this sort of lighting is misleading and may lead someone to waste...

Yeah, I've never noticed visible damage with them, but they are dirty insects. Often hanging out in garbage. Kind of gross lol

Houseflys love plants from my experience. Not sure they're harmful but you'd have to assume that they're eating something. Wish I could help more!
