As far as I know, you can't really manipulate the THC level very much; one way or the other. It's, pretty much, strain dependant (genetics).

83-86°f. isnt really that bad. But losing 25% of your light energy sure is! I say 400 watts and higher temps all the way! Higher temperatures don't really seem to hurt the plants - they just don't grow as much! At least that's my experience.

Dude, it's time for a reality check! You're talking about 120 sq. ft. of net space. For 8 plants, that's 15 sq.ft. of area to cover each. Not very practical. For 2 1,000 watt lights, that's 60 sq.ft. of area to cover each. You'll need 5 or 6 1,000 watt lights to cover that area properly.
