70W HPS in a grow tub?

I've never used a 70 watt hps, but if you can use it without high temps in your box, I'd recommend it. You will have a little bit better quality light, but mainly you will get that light from using 70 watts, where the same amount of light from cfls will use more electricity. Best thing you can...

What can be used as a reflector?

Yeah....don't use aluminum foil. Mylar or white paint are your best options.

How do I fix weak stem problems?

I've never had to use a chemical additive to strengthen any of my plants. All you need is a fan set on a speed high enough to rumble the plants around but not blow them over. It kind of like weight training for plants. Your other option, like previously stated is to stake them up with a stick...

    Please help... sex my weed!!!

Uhm it looks like it already is flowering. What light cycle are you on right now? It's possible you could have some autoflower genetics in there?

'Always wanted to ask but was afraid to' questions

Don't know how many of these I can answer for you but I'll give it my best shot since you don't have any responses yet. :) 1 You probably can, just make sure that you have the exact product for what you are trying to do. Make sure there aren't any nutes in it. 2 You can create your own...

    Please help... sex my weed!!!

I disagree. That first picture clearly shows pistils. But pics 3 and 5 you can clearly see ball sacks. My vote is hermi. Its up to you to finish it or not, but if it's your only plant, you don't really have much to loose. Like the others said, there are things you can do to limit the ball...

    Best way to dry

You're certainly right about that. The slower it drys the better, because you need enough time for the chlorophyll in the plants to decompose. If you dry your bud too fast, yes it'll be dry, but it'll smell and taste like fresh lawn clippings or hay when you smoke it. In the end there's more...

[PICS] 1st grow - my 4 random bagseed plants - What kind of weed is this?

I see no problem with growing plants that small. For some people, that's all they need. And there's certainly benefits to running small plants: less electricity used, less nutrients, and definitely helps keep the odors at bay.

1st grow - my 4 random bagseed plants - What type/strain are they? [PICS]

Not at all man. Some people are just jealous. ;) Its all good though, I'm sure there are growers on here that never make it past seedling, to people that run multiple 1000 watt hps lights. Different strokes for different folks. :)

    Plant started outside...now inside QUESTION.

You're quality should be fine as long as you feed it some good nutes during flowering. And I'm with the others: it's mature enough to flower. I'd do it now. Be prepared for it to grow quite a bit higher. :)

    Germination help

As long as you were VERY gentle with the transplant you should be ok. It's better to do it when the plant is bigger though so it can handle the handling. Don't worry to much about it, you must have a lot of patience when you first start growing, but it sounds like you're off to a good start...

1st grow - my 4 random bagseed plants - What type/strain are they? [PICS]

Not much we can tell you if they were bag seed. Probably an indica/sativa mix of some sort. That one with the pink pistils looks really nice though looks like its a bit heavier on the indica side. Makin' my mouth water! Seems like they are happy and healthy! :)

When starting seeds do you use ph'd water???

I never have. I've used tap water, and distilled water from the store. I didn't check the ph for either, and I haven't had a problem with germination. Once I start watering the seedling, however, THEN I ph my water.

just like to get some feelings on this

I tend to agree with this statement. The recommendation of the two week dark period seems to only apply to white widow. Its not exactly a footnote you see for every strain. IMO this means that there is a reason they recommend it. Although I must say a full two weeks does seem a bit long...

when to start cloning, does anyone know?

What he means is that the plant is mature enough to flower or clone when the branches on the main stem(s) grow more like alternating Y's instead of stacked T's. But yes, probably 2 months is a safe figure.

    Lights

You can use a 250 watt hps along with lst or scrog to achieve big yields for less electricity; there are many people on this site that have done so. I currently am running a 250 watt light, and I have 3 plants under it right now, 2 larger and 1 smaller. I also have an inline filter on the end...

    Lighting Question?????

The 6500k spectrum will work, but your buds tend to not get as big. But at the same time, the way I understand it, they get more thc crystal growth on them. 2700k will still get you good thc crystals, but the buds on average will be bigger. Either way, the main thing that makes the plant push...

Growers, i need your advice! please come!

If you have pistils showing now, they'll start to form into buds in about 1.5 to 2 weeks, and they get bigger and prettier from there. :) Can't really tell you about yield, your growing outdoors and I grow indoors. Post this question in the outdoor section and you might get more/more accurate...

    Will This Work For Drying?

No need to leave it for a couple weeks; usually 5-7 days is enough for most drying environments. You want light air movement, but not air blowing directly on the drying buds. The classic way to dry them is to hang your harvested bud upside down on a wire in the flowering room in the dark for a...
