Yep, you're in the clear! Your fan is rated for 12V, and you are supplying it with 12V. You could attach it to a 20V adapter, and it would go faster (If there wasn't a regulator on the fan, which there probably isn't) but it might go TOO fast. For example, it would wear and tear much faster...
