Is that one draining well? Could be from overwatering because one of the cups isn't draining well and there's excess water/nutrients sitting on the bottom of the cup and the roots are sitting in it.

Most carboload products are made with molasses. If you can't find it, corn syrup works just as well. Although, its usually right by the corn syrup or in the baking department at just about any large grocery store. I did buy a carton of molasses at walmart before so I know they carry it.

I have never used it or even heard of it until now but since its two bulbs with two ballasts under one hood, would it not it be better to just have two separate hoods too? I think two separate systems would give you a bigger footprint and is still probably cheaper than there sale price.

My understanding is that a plant cannot photosynthesize much more than 18 hours of light. I read this is some scientific studies. So turning out the lights for 6 hours saves electricity. Take it for what its worth because I am sure some will disagree with me and I cannot find where that study was.
