can i take plants out of a pot to allow yhe soil to dry

Yes, you can pull it out of the pot if you overwatered and say the plant is drooping from excess water. I have done this before with no bad effect and the plant recovered and after a few days looked healthier than ever. Pull it out and let it dry on a few paper towels until the paper towels are...

I know someone who just went through the same sort of thing and in one day, he had his whole room taken down.....all plants went into a 1 ton u-haul truck and he had a portable heater in there plugged into another friends house. The room was repainted and all furniture moved back in (a bed, a...

    Mutant leaves!!

Are you getting your water from the The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant run-off, where Homer Simpson works and has the river with the 3 eyed fish? They say it makes your plants explode with glow-in-the-dark buds.

    collecting pollin

how does it collect pollen when the main stem is in a glass of water.....does the pollen just fall off into the water? And if thats it, how do you store it or keep it to use? I'm interested in trying that method but not sure how to go about it. Would be cool if you had some pics of this proceedure.

Can drooping be due to small pot?

If all your taking is 10 cuttings at a time, I don't see the need for mother plants. Veg your plants a few extra days and take 10 cuttings off those just prior to putting them into flower. 10 cuttings isn't worth saving a mother plant for in my opinion.

    Clones Clones Clones

I like to use a heat mat under the tray and in the tray, I lay a layer of vermiculite to hold the moisture. I mist them with plain water for the first 4 or 5 days and then that's it. I find the roots will reach for the mosture in the vermiculite and heat from the bottom. I just add some water to...

Can drooping be due to small pot?

They look like you've got a PH problem and underwatered/overwatered. I'd first check you ph, including your meter. Then I would probably pull them out of there pots and see what the soils like. Is it too damp in the bottom of your pot or is it too dry. If its too damp, put it on some paper...

Flowing.. but seem to be going slow.

You could add some Bud Blood from AN or Kool Bloom from GH. They suppose to help kick start the flowering. Although, I think with clf's, yours look about what they should for the first 3 weeks of flowering, although more light would always be better. The first couple weeks of flowering, the...

cfl spirals 32 watt soft white vs daylight

Yes, it is possible. Some believe that having both increases the growth, usually having 2 to 1 of the 6500 for vegging and 2700 for flowering. Although most of the consensus is still that, it is best to have 6500 for vegging and 2700 for flowering.

Starting new seeds while other plant is flowering...

How I do it is I use my flowering room for the 12 hours and move the small plants to a closet with a few cfls for the rest of the 18 hours. Then put them back in when the 12/12 starts. Its a bit of work but it saves lots of room and the small plants still get 18 hours till they are ready to go...

Light needed for a mother plant??

They do not need as much light as if you were after vigorous growth. If you are just keeping it alive and looking for a slower growth, two or three of them would be enough for one mother plant. I have found that too much light and the mother wants to grow right out of my cabinet. I have a hard...

    Baking Soda, The New Chronic

There is a air cleaner that uses Baking Soda to nutralize the odor of pets. I think you add a box to some sort of fan system but I never looked at it close enough. I saw it in the pet department at walmart. I'm sure if you looked at the product or maybe took it apart, someone could DIY something...

Is this a good place to grow?

I would separate them like maybe 5 plants each place and plant by some bush for extra stealth. Here's a good video on gorilla growing outdoors. I think its 3 parts but here's the first part: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-4pq853YwM&feature=related

Is this a good place to grow?

Yeah the place looks good. Is that your backyard and fence in picture 3? If its your place then I would just walk in a ways and prepare some small plots. Turn the soil and add some lime to the ground a few weeks before planting.

My Plant is a Mutant Freak of Nature

It looks good. Somehow it topped which is what you want anyway so now you'll have two nice colas when you flower it. Its starting to look like its stretching, maybe bend it over to get even more tops and keep the height in check. Good luck as I sure wouldn't want to be risking growing in China...
