I know it's doubtful, but does anyone have a rough idea what any of these might be strain wise? The seeds...

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

Thanks for the kudos; I wish I knew then what I know now. So aside from my initial mistakes like going too long in veg from low light, not keeping up with the PH until recently and all that jazz; am I doing okay?

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

Keep in mind, I didn't have the proper lighting in the beginning and it's my first grow; lot of mistakes.

How big of a deal is a minor light leak really

*** Bows to the greatness *** My ignorance is dwarfed only by my admitted lack of experience.

Can these plants recover? What should i do?

Hopefully you have a thermometer in there; but 78 is fine if it's the actual temp in the grow area.

Can these plants recover? What should i do?

You should be fine; my AC went out once and I have one of those thermometers that keeps track of your hi and low temps. At one point, it hit 101 and the plants looked like hell; but they recovered fine.

How big of a deal is a minor light leak really

I'm only a noob with 1 grow so far but I personally think that light leaks are a bit over hyped. Logic dictates that outdoors, plants are exposed to moonlight; so light no stronger than that would obviously not have a negative impact. I had the door open for most my grow and there was...

My newbie mistake -- Lesson learned

Hey Cincinnati11, I didn't notice you mentioning if you flushed and cut your nutes (straight water thereafter) 2 weeks before harvest; skipping that step can make for some harsh stuff.

My newbie mistake -- Lesson learned

My mistakes were many and the largest lesson learned is that for your first grow, don't set your expectations too high; expect the worst and hope for the best. - Lack of preparation and in depth research of the entire plant life cycle. - Started too many at once and had to keep killing...

You know of any SSL proxies that will work with RIU's picture uploading feature? I'm the hyper-parnoid type.

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

I had heard of taping branches from a guy and tried it on one when something had fallen on it and it worked; the only tape in the house at the time was scotch tape and i was amazed. But the main stem breaking freaked me the fuck out.

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

I wanted to report that as of yesterday evening she still lives. I had company show up and couldn't leave to get the pic and then forgot the camera last night. She does look mildly shocked and not as perky; but no wilting, yellowing or obvious signs of dieing. I think the next day or so will...

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

It wasn't completely broken off; probably half snapped through the stem. I'll go take a pic and post how I've got it now; I want to make sure I'm good. I can't believe how attached I am to these things; and I don't even smoke... go figure.

Just came home to a disaster!!!!

Just went to check on the kids and one of my best ones got so heavy with bud the damn stem snapped. Foregoing all the diatribes about what I should have done (first grow; I know know), I was hoping someone could tell me if the same thing that I've done with taping broken limbs that has worked...

Need to flush - Is AquaSafe water conditioner safe?

Says Green Light on it. I think I'm going to spread it out; I don't have enough jugs to do all the plants at once with letting it sit. I'm going to err on the side of caution.

Need to flush - Is AquaSafe water conditioner safe?

Technically neither; but for all tense and purposes soil. I'm using a mix of 3 parts Sphagnum Peat Moss, 1 part Vermiculite, 1 part Perlite and a touch of garden lime. Being my first grow, it's been my learning the mistakes experience. During veg I used Vigoro 24-8-15 and when I switched to...

Need to flush - Is AquaSafe water conditioner safe?

I was planning to go that route, but someone told me the chlorine would still strip the roots; so abandoned that plan..
