Put it this way I live in the uk and it's winter. I have a 400 watt hps in a 1.2 x 1.2 metre tent with a 4 inch exhaust, 4 inch intake, and two six inch clip on fans in there. It still gets hot! It's acceptable for winter but as soon as summer kicks in It'll be a cool tube with a six inch...

72 to 76 is good for day temp. Don't let it fall anymore than about 7 degrees at lights off. Good luck :)

No man but the rockwool is moist.

I ended up grabbing a energy saver bulb out of my lamp and put that over them for now. It's only low wattage but the bulb is cool enough that I can grab the thing with my hand so heat wont be a problem. Hopefully a bit of gentle light should pick them up :)

Would love grow some but serious seeds stuff is a bit pricey for me right now.

Ak-47 is sativa dominant I think but every time Iv'e had it its felt more of a heavy stone.

haha no its a 400. Just measured it properly and the distance from the bulb to plant tip is 46 inches.

Unfortunately I don't have a cfl or anything and there's no point in putting them in the window since it's winter where I am and the light levels are too low.

Yeh hopefully :) I know some people say don't but I have them under my hps as well. It's about a meter away so it shouldn't be too intense for them should it?

Hi. I let my rockwool dry out last night under my light and my seedling flopped over. I've since watered them but I was wondering will it of caused any permanent damage to them, stunting etc or will they bounce back. Thanks :)

Does anybody here use seedling feeds like canna start or formulex or whatever it's called. If so what week do you kick in with it?

Thing is dude from what I can gather everyone has their own way of dealing with growing. You will ask someone one thing and then get told the "definitive" answer by some other cat. I'm sure you will still get on fine with your parabolic reflector :) As far as what your growing in you either you...
