Does this 5 week old photo look like an auto starting to flower?

I like to take mine to 8+ weeks, 12 is not uncommon. They always seem to give more the longer they have vegged.

That is how I look at it. If you do something that is bad you can offset it by being extra good somewhere else. The thing about fish waste is the smell. Farmers around here spread it on the fields in the Spring and you can smell it for miles.:D I have discovered that all the stupidly...

The stuff I can get locally is made from the council garden waste recycling collection.

Jack's Magic was some good soil, really nice. I think they have stopped making it now, the replacement seems to be New Horizon and they do various versions of it.

I gave up on broadcast TV about 5 years ago. I have Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. Anything else is freely available on the internet. In the UK I have to have a licence to watch broadcast TV, £155 a year ($130), before you even turn it on. Streaming services are exempt from this.

Yep, in my last lot I had one plant with cloudy/amber trichs at week 6. After that I just used my common sense.

No it isn't, you are right. But... Since the start of covid I have looked hard at how I live my life. I like motorsport, that is really bad for the environment. I like classic cars, especially when fitted with carburettors that suck fuel for a laugh. So to offset that we have changed our...

When I was a lad that was the only way of doing it. This looking at the trichomes through a magnifier wasn't even a thing.

I really don't want to use coco. I really like using products that are made literally in the next town. The compost I am using is made from the garden waste collected in our recycling bins and local recycling centres, taken to a depot 15 miles away, processed and sold back to the community at...

So that is it then, do nothing about the environment? I like Formula 1 and Drag Racing too, should I give them up? IMHO it is about doing what you like to do with the least impact possible. Buying a local product is helping, this is a proven fact. I understand I can get a better yield using...

I have a look at them. But, IMHO, it isn't a full indicator of ripeness, merely a guide.

As much as I would like to live in the USA, it really is a fantastic country, sadly I am quite far away from Arkansas. I'm about 3,500 miles to the right.

https://www.newscientist.com/article/dn13034-peatland-destruction-is-releasing-vast-amounts-of-co2/ "When peat comes into contact with air, its carbon combines with oxygen in the decomposition process, and is released as carbon dioxide."

What is the point of shipping in Coco when there is an equally good alternative produced locally and costing less? There isn't a locally produced alternative to Perlite. Having learned how Perlite and Vermiculite are produced Rice hulls appear to have a lower carbon footprint despite being...

I can get them on Amazon for £0.80/L if I buy a 40L sack.

I am looking at them. I think importing them from S.E Asia, on a ship, will probably have a lower carbon footprint than Perlite as a whole.

This is the rub with environmentalism. Who do we believe? With all of these things one scientist will say one thing and another will say the opposite. The UK government are banning the stuff so I have little choice. The UK ban doesn't start until 2024, but the major suppliers have already...
