plant 1 looks too early to tell, as for plant 2 looks male to me. and you shoulden`t worry about males pollinating the females when the hairs first show, when the hairs first pop up you should have sufficent time to be able to sex your other plants beafore the pollen sack develope and open up.

i usually just switch straight to 12/12, i have in previous crops gave them 24 hours dark beafore switching to 12/12 and diden`t notice a diffence between when i go straight to 12/12 but it could be just me.

it really is up to you, the more veg time the bigger the buds. in my opinion i would wait to flower till january.

yea dude you should be straight with that meter for now, but you should look into a better one

you could pull it off with a 23watt cfl for a sprout, but i woulden`t recommend useing this low of light output for anything more then a young sprout

the 1st pic i can`t really tell, kind looks l see balls(male) could you possible post another pic from a diffent angle? but the other pics are defiently males, i would pull them from your crop immeditely.

the spots is most probilly nute burn, especially if you are just guessing the doses you give them, you should flush the pot and chill on the nutes for a few days or so and see if you notice a diffence. and as for flowering the best way is useing a microscope like the dude above posted, but...

5 days? i usually water my vegging crop every 5 days, and a little more frequent during flowering, personally i think you should be cool leaving them unattended for 5 days

it would be better if you could use a HPS light for flowering, the orange hue simulates natural sunlight if it would be flowering time. But a MH light would be just fine i went through a few crops with a MH through flowering with no problems whatsoever, but if i was you i would go with a HPS if...

hmm...you should really try to get some kind of ph tester, you can usually get the dropper kind for like 4-7 us dollars, not sure where ur at. depending on your water source it can already be off from what you want your ph to be(generally between 6-6.8 but 6.5 is where u mostly want to be at)...

sounds to me like a deficiency of some kind or an Abundant of something. is their any kind of nutes are you useing? and what kind of soil mix do you have, and waht is the PH of your water?

it is possible but to me its more trouble then its worth when u can add a few more bulbs at minium and get a tremendously greater yeild then that crappy shit shown in the vid

i grow hydro and soil, and personally think a well mixed soil medium and well flushed does alot better then hydro when it comes to flavor, aroma and yeild.
