i too hope leds work out becuase they would be great for us who keep reef tanks and need mh to get the corals to grow witch is so much heat and evaperation of our water we need to run chillers and such to keep the tanks we want. so to have leds actually work would be great

the problem lies with the lies. i mean i can grow everything under 400w and then place a ufo in the area snap a picture and tell you did this a candle lite i guess one of these days we have to know someone we trust and see for ourselves in person that leds are worth the risk of loot they cost

you dont want to use 400w when your plant only needs 50 then go get cfl's. i still would like to know what kind of area a 90w led will cover. is it one light per plant or 2 plants or is it area of scrog. so tell me please. and a half pound for a ufo. how many of them?

what kind of coverage area do they have? and they replace 400w light so for you 1000w growers it would cost you quit a bit to replace everything. so by the time you do that how much are you really saving? if i were starting up it might be different but why give up the tried and true methoid?

if you want to set up something for your one plant just use a 5 gallon buck with an airstone. this will let you flush for as long as you want. personaly i dont see much difference wheather i flush or not. everyone has there own opion. look at some guys put 5 airstones in their deep water. over...

i wouldnt mix them in untill they become compost. so make a little pal put all your clipping in there and you daily left over food and toss it around. it will rot in no time and be great for your garden. you can even put in some earth worms who will eat the shit up quick and the casting well...

there is no need to use hps when vegging out your plant. the first 4 weeks. regular flouresent lighting wil work just fine. i use one cool white and one day white on a 4 foot shop light. when it comes time to flower there is hps. and i think it works best in giving you enough light to grow a few...

i am sure my set up is just as getto if not worse but there is something to be said for growing great bud in getto grows. i just use 5 gallon spackel buckets i got off a job. they make great dwc's if you ask me. and i love them and i have never had a problem with water temps or ph using them...

i dont think its a big deal. its not like they are going to come to your house and knock on the door with a federal warrent. they just smack you on the pee and tell you dont do it again. i usually order from 2 places at a time so i dont put all my eggs in one basket so to speak.

these are not magical beans and there are no faster ways to grow from seeds than just time and water and patience. patience being the most important one
