Question regarding Meanwell type "A" drivers

Hiya folks This may seem like a really silly question, but isn't there supposed to be a screw under the rubber protection for adjusting Io and Voltage? When i take off the rubber, it's a few centimeters deep and then there's a piece of plastic? Am i supposed to break off the plastic, and the...

Light suggestions for 1mx1m Scrog (budget build with cob's)

Hey everybody A friend of mine wants to build a ~300w light for a 1mx1m scrog. It's going to replace a 400w HPS. He wants to keep it at no more than 300$, and wants to use cob's. So far I've suggested he take a look at Citizen 1212 and Luminus cxm-22, perhaps Vero22 as well. What do you guys...

    New LEDS

CXB3590 3500K DB bin is ~50$ (US) and Vero 29C gen7 is ~30$ from Kingbrite. The Vero is currently a better chip when driven harder than 50w and 20$ cheaper. If you want to run your chips at around 45 watts, then look at Citizen chips. Much cheaper than CXB and i believe they're around 50%...

    New LEDS

Yea, it's not worth it to buy CXB these days. Vero 29 Gen 7 performs better (at least @60+ watts) and are cheaper than Cree. You should also take a look at Citizen and Luminus chips as they are very close in performance to Bridgelux and Cree, and significantly cheaper. We have a lot of variety...
