I've heard of some gardeners using Epsom Salt as an alternative for Magnesium Sulfate. Some gardeners swear by it, mostly because these same gardeners make their own fertilizer. Myself, I only use products from Advanced Nutrients. Off Feeding is an option, you don't have to do this.

I would get some ladybugs ASAP, most grow shops have them. Once your plants are ripe enough I'd stick them outside in the freezing cold temperatures. It will kill all the bugs.

The strain I was growing was Oasis by Dutch Masters. My first outdoor grow was putting my first mother plant outdoors and I ended up getting well over 2 pounds. It grew over 10 feet tall.

I agree, get rid of the aluminum foil. Flat white paint will work better.

A 1000 watts is a bit too much for your area. I'd stick with 400 to 600 watt.

IMO, Those grow cabinets are for beginners with a whole lotta money that wanna try growing weed for fun. Building your walls can be completely built with just some 1X2's and panda film, and that will only cost you $25 in supplies and a couple hours of your time. Also hydro gardens IMO suck...
