When I'm in doubt of what to do with my plants, the last place I go is here. Too many differences of opinion. Google works better. The first thing I do, is flush. Flushing is very important when you see something weird going with your plants. Once flushed, you can slowly figure out the problem.

Lol, very innovative using an old dog house for vegetation. I'd put your plants in triangular fashion under your light. I can tell, you're going to be an awesome grower in harvests to come.

First of all, very nice setup. I'm always excited to see that people are taking the time to think things through, which IMO is very rare. If you're worried about the smell throughout the home, get one of those furnace filters that have a febreze air freshner already inside of it. It works!!

Lighting is not especially important during vegg. Relax... Light up a jay, and don't overthink it. It's very simple until you get to the last couple weeks.

Before I invested in a very nice (expensive) hand held jeweler scope I had a cheap ten dollar one. I had to have help from a friend to hold a flashlight while I was checking.

Instead of investing in a different grow hood, I'd get a light meter. That way you'll know when to change your bulbs and how much light coverage your getting in all four corners. Merry Christmas :bigjoint:

In my experience with vegetation. Lighting is not especially important. I can vegg under a single fluorescent bulb. When the sun leaves start to grow that's when lighting is important. As you get a few grows under your belt you'll start to learn what works best for your environment. Merry...

I just hope after it's all dry and ready to smoke you'll be satisfied with all the hard work you've done. To me and probably others would agree that the yield is just as important as the quality. For example; would you grow a tomato plant with hopes of only getting one tomato. To each his own...

Tap water works best for my clones, I let the water sit for a day to let the chlorine evaporate. I never add nutes, just more tap water. I don't use cloning gels or powders. I usually have a 95% success rate with my cloning machine.

White spots usually mean spider mites. Wipe down both sides of every leaf with ground cinnamon and cloves mixed with neem oil. It works!!!

When I start to see the pistils slowing down in growing, I break out the Microscope and look at the trichs every other day. I harvest when I see the trichs starting to turn amber. I prefer couchlock. :blsmoke:

In the size tent I've grown 4 bbw, and yielded over a lb with Dutch Passion Oasis. Under a 1000watt.

The first grow tent I bought was a 3X3X5. I had to learn the hard way that this size tent is too small to grow a decent yield. I constantly ran into complications. Back then I considered myself an amateur, but through trial and error I found this size tent to be most useful for a Mother plant or...

I use Co2, and I have a Co2 ppm meter that tells how much Co2 is in the room when it's emitting. If you're going to use Co2, you should invest in a Co2 meter.
