Just smoked some maui waui after switching to jack's 3-2-1 from GH. All I can say is WOW!

@jonnynobody, how are you liking those pot elevators? I was thinking of grabbing a couple.

Weed that tastes like chemical waste, smells like rotten ass and harsh like sandpaper

I doubt it's the nutes, maybe overfeeding, but not the brand on the bottle. Sometimes you just get a stain/pheno that doesn't agree with your pallet.

    Blinking lights?

Sounds like a cold solder joint to me. Once the board/joint heats up the intermittent connection "fixes itself" and the light works properly. It's hard to say if it's worth fixing.

Wow It's Settled for me....dwc GSC vs Soil GSC.....not even close....

It's a catch 22 IMHO. If you stick to lower temps and something goes wrong, then they have a tendency to not go as wrong. When you push temps, push nutes, push CO2, push humidity, etc, when things start going wrong they can go really wrong really fast.

    Grounding pots!

I'm tempted to do a side by side just to prove it doesn't work.....

    Grounding pots!

(Electronically) ground the pot. I seriously doubt it helps.

Agreed. If they're going to charge, at least give it a week or two in a solo cup before handing it off to a customer....

The red dye is attract hummingbirds, who (allegedly?) prefer red flowers for some reason. Ironically, the OP has stumbled upon the truth of the (liquid) nutrients we use - they're sugar and/or salt water. The problem with trying to be a smarty pants on a site like this is we have peeps who...

Unless you're a purely organic grower, you probably are feeding your plant Mag-sulfate already. Tons of people do feed there plants mag-sulfate via sweeteners, like Botanicare Raw. I bypass Botanicare and just go straight to the Mag-sulfate. You're plant doesn't uptake molasses, the molasses...

    Myco in DTW coco/perlite

I use Great White in Peat. I'd say it does nothing for yield, but it does help prevent root rot and keeps PH in the soil stabile when using chemical nutes. I do feed the soil molasses, but recommend against putting molasses in the rez or using molasses if you're recirculating.

But make sure you tell them afterwards.....

    LED’s from different angles

Underlighting does work (on mother plants at least). When I did it (with a mother), the cloning stock buried down there definitely improved with underlighting. Never tired it with flowering plants. At a certain point you've maxed out how much light the plant can use. Lights under a...

    best humidity for rooting clones?

Looks like we use the same system, except I use Clonex or Oliva's. I get "brown spot" occassionally - it's called something else on MMJ, but it's brown spot in grass. Transfers from my landscaper's lawn mower to my lawn to my grow room. Really doesn't affect healthy plants, but it likes to...

I like them to be in tip top shape before I flip....

    best humidity for rooting clones?

If you haven't gotten wilt or fungus in 15 years of growing, then you're one lucky SOB.

6 square feet, less then 4 feet ceiling and pull half a pound? Watch me!

Me thinks they just make numbers up. Maybe a defective scale???

    best humidity for rooting clones?

You're fighting a fun battle - you get wilt if the humidity is too low and fungus loves high RH. I'll get a few that wilt when I pull the dome, but they usually bounce back in a few days. In my experience, I found fighting wilt is a better choice. If you have to cull a wilting clone, no big...
