WHAT? How can vegging your plant for longer REDUCE the quality? More mature plants generally give nicer smoke, more terps and flavour in the buds... This sounds like camelshit to me. Oh and theres nothing wrong with CFL's that a decent grower can't manage.

overall yeild can be similar regardless of sog/scrog method what varies is the veg time required and the # of plants scrog long veg time but few plants sog short veg time but many plants personal preferance/legal rammifications are yours to consider.

Sounds fine man, just give them time :) Once they start branching you will notice much faster daily growth, but for now they are only little so growth is slow. Keep posting pictures, interested to see how it turns out!

No, you want 3-4 nodes on the branch you are going to clone. The idea is that 1-2 of those nodes are placed underground and this is where the roots will grow.

New growers use soil please, it is far easier and more forgiving than hydro.

Small clones can work just as well as large clones. The key with clones is DONT FUCK THEM ABOUT TOO MUCH. If you are constantly spraying them, checking them for roots etc then they will probably fail. Cut them, spray them then leave them alone for 5 days. Remember not to drown the medium...

Hm they seem fine, how close is your light to the plants? Can you nudge it a bit closer without burning the plants? LED's?

You should rotate the mother plant every year or so, some claim if you dont you will see decreased vitality in the clones. Personally i've not seen this but it seems reasonable.

The important thing is to harden them off gradually if they are to spend the nights outside.

To confirm what others have said: its male, kill it and start over. Maybe invest £5 in a femminised seed

How tall is the closet? This will limit the type of light you can install, at a guess you probably dont want anything bigger than a 400w HPS, maybe a 250w depending on the cupboard.
