Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

Or just move along to a different thread if you aren't worried about noise

1st grow - tell me if this sounds alright

I'd run the lights before popping seeds to see how hot it gets. The fabric pots work better because they prune the roots as they reach the outer edges causing them to branch back into the pot instead of wrapping around the outside of the dirt against the pot.

Do revegged clones normally look this fucked up? :-)

Just take another clone from it if you don't like how bushy the structure ends up being.

Final thread, promise. Any changes I need to make before I buy?

I agree that four would be plenty for a 2x2 but maybe rotate the frame so that the cobs are closer to the corners.

    COB Nutrient differences.

In the planted aquarium hobby they found they couldn't run high power lights without stepping up the co2. The plants need multiple inputs. Mainly light, water, co2 and food to keep production at a solid pace. If one of those falls short the others will be limited as well. It was pretty cool to...

    Careerforacityboy's Stealth Cabinet Build

Those fans aren't designed to move air like you have them. You need a real exhaust fan and a carbon filter if you're going to make it work. Ditch the intake fan altogether, you are safer with passive intakes (holes cut in the cab) so you can create negative air pressure and ensure all air...

    blue light for finishing

I have a dual cxa-3070 3000k light with a 26w 5000k rigged up between the two. I planned on running the 5000k during the middle 4 hours of 12/12 towards the end of flowering on this run. It will be over a single plant in an 11"x20" cabinet. I don't have any results with it yet but am curious to...

    Modified 8.5w LED Bulb

The replaceable foil stove drip catcher might be an easier solution. They are $3 for an 6 pack at my grocery store

    The Path to Perfection

You will probably need more drying space for how big your flowering section is unless you have other means to dry. I have been pondering this style layout for a while to replace my micro ngb cabinet I have been using for seven years. My thoughts were to put the veg area on the bottom and...

Pin heat sink for 1.05ma, room to grow?

You can always upgrade to active cooling if they get to hot in future applications. Either way, I'd go with the 140's

CMH for Veg / LED for Flower?

I had the same thoughts on a smaller scale (100w cmh and 200w led) and had a pretty good idea. Run the cmh in the veg area 18/6 and get another bulb and socket to flip flop off the ballast and run 6 hours in the flower section during the middle of lights on.

Hortilux agromax or other t5 uv/limited spectra light

Are you planning on making diy fixtures for the 2' bulbs? I've wanted to add one to my setup but I am not familiar with which fluorescent ballast I would need.

    Grow box help!!!!

That's plenty of room to grow a plant. I would go with a single diy high power cob led and a dimmable driver. An ounce or two isnt out of the question if you can hit a gram per watt. Scrog or mainlining would be some good training methods to fill the canopy and keep it even. The average...

    Stealth Micro Grow..LED..DWC..(First Grow)

Maybe put something reflective over the black cover under the plants. Reflecting light back up is better than creating heat.

    LEC 315 W or a COB DIY w/4 x 50 watt CREEs 3590s (200 watt) for Flower

I haven't seen that one. The one I bought was more similar to a hid style bulb with a magnetic ballast but it came from years ago on icmag.
