yup. that's a boy alright. Looks like you did a pretty decent job though, I'm finding the toughest with CFL is keeping the lights proper distance. Looks like you kept the stretch fairly minimal though.

Light just breaks down the flowering hormone, the more exposure the more degradation you get.. simple as that. 4 hrs, not so bad... 40 hrs, kind of a big deal. The moment it's (relatively) dark again the plant can manufacture more hormone.

I leave them, unless they start to really wilt down.. otherwise they will generally clear up as the plant gets bigger.

I'd say it's probably because it got a little burnt by the soil, happens with small roots.

red spectrum is fine for both veg and flower.. same with blue, the plant will use what's available to it... for veg the blue is nice though because it's more energetic light(e=hf).

The problem with having a pot that's too big for your plant is that the plant won't have big enough roots to suck up all the water and you risk some problems from that.

Unless your balast is drawing some stupid amount of current you should be fine, 10A is pretty high(for a balast).
