Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

I think your delusional, maybe the air in China has messed with your brain function. You didn't post any relevant information in your initial post, I don't see how you keep making this claim. You literally posted that you want 150 1000w lights and you are growing 650 plants in a 6500sq space...

Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

Both of these are exactly correct, especially the part that is in bold. People think it's so easy just to buy a giant warehouse, throw some lights in there, plant 650 plants, just "let them grow", cut, sell, make profit, repeat. I mean, if it was really that easy everyone would be doing it...

Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

What research? I didn't see any in your initial post. All I saw was that you wanted 150 lights, and from that we should know and figure out the whole rest of your operation.....come on dude. Also, no one wants to help someone who is not gracious for the help that is already being given. It seems...

Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

THIS ^^^^. I have the same situation going on with a buddy here in CO. Has grown 6, count them 6!, plants in his entire life and is now opening a massive warehouse to grow for the recreational scene, it's crazy! And he's consulting with hydro shop guys, and we all know they just want to sell you...

Commercial scale grow needs input from experienced growers

Yea I'd wait till you get a reliable internet connection and do some more research. Your setting up a huge operation and basically asking people to do ALL the legwork for you, and no one's going to want to do that. Also, you'll catch more bees with honey than vinegar. What I mean by that is you...

BUD ROT! To harvest or attempt to salvage?

Yea dude if you got healthy plants in there I wouldn't take the chance. I'd either isolate the sick plant or chop it and start to dry it. You do not what it to spread to your healthy plants, that would be the worst

BUD ROT! To harvest or attempt to salvage?

IF it is bud and if you have other girls in your garden I'd probably just chop this one and call it a day. The worst thing would be if it spread, if it is actually bud rot, but if you feel like you got most of it you could try letting it go a little longer and see if the rot progresses or not...

    1000 watt questions and problems

I'd like to meet these people who keep their 1000w's 1ft above the canopy....they must be doing something magical

    How old is my plant

Looks REALLY old, I'd chop it.

    Help with equipment

You might want to post in the LED section to ask that question but I highly doubt you'd find anything comparable to a 1000w in that price range unless you were going to go with the cheap Chinese LED type. I might be wrong though, I am not a LED expert by any means but I do have a fair idea of...

    4x4 tent trouble

Yea noise can be a problem. If you have the option to hang the fan from the ceiling or somewhere bungee cords work great for reducing the noise of the fan, that's what I use. To answer your question though, and I hope I understood it correctly, if your exhausting the hot air out of the room I...

    4x4 tent trouble

Yea if you were going to do an active intake it's usually preferred to have it on the bottom but it's not super crucial. Work with what you have. You could try the 4in though, that would probably work. You could also look in to getting a reducer for the 6in to fit a 4in, I've never done that but...

    Re-using FFOF after synthetic nutes

Yea I keep hearing from everyone about starting a worm bin, that's my next project. I found a pretty simple video for making a worm bin for under $20 so that seems like an easy task. Quick question though, how long after I "start" the worm bin (meaning getting everything in there so the worms...

What up guys, just a few quick bud shots from my current grow in CO, strain is bubblegummer

    4x4 tent trouble

Well then I'd definitely go with another inline fan, either a 4in or even better a 6in. That way you can play around with it. You could either try it as an active intake, see how that works for ya, or you can dedicate one fan to blowing cold air over the light then exhausting it and the other...

    4x4 tent trouble

So I had the same problem in my tent, also 4x4 & a 600w (with side lighting), so pretty much the same setup. You could try an active intake, even better if you have somewhere to pull cold air from, but either way that would probably get your temps where you want them to be once you had it dialed...

Help me build my next setup

I'd also run a quick calculation on roughly how many amps you are going to be pulling if you do decide to throw in another 600w. I think it's a good idea for sure, just don't want too many amps pulling on your breaker. Like Realz said though, you can stagger them so they aren't on at the same...
