Probably. How big is the closet?

Carbon filter + hood = confused

You'll always get different answers when it comes to this question, but imo it's preferable to blow cold air over the light opposed to pulling hot air out. So you would go filter>fan>hood>exhaust, with the straightest and shortest amount of ducting possible between

Help me build my next setup

Why you jacking this mans thread? Come on dude, go over to the LED section if you have questions about LED lights. Yea there's a lot of people that mix HID and LED. Never heard anything pertaining to it being the best at mimicking sunlight but I wouldn't discount it. When you mix light spectrum...

Help me build my next setup

I'd go with the second option. Why grow in a tent, or pay the money to buy a tent, if you already have a room and closet for flower/veg? I'd save the money and just set up the dedicated room/closet and skip the tent.

Is she trying to talk to me, or am I trippin?

I'd say you could up the feeding 1100ppm and be fine, keep doing what you're doing though and look out for more signs of burn. Yea I know I've read some threads around here people raging about AN. I don't know anything about that I has jacks classic haha, but yea I know a lot of people have hate...

Is she trying to talk to me, or am I trippin?

How much are you feeding right now? Maybe a little def but more likely it's just because you're getting late in to flowering, it's not uncommon to have some yellowing as you reach the late stage of flowering. Want to make sure you're feeding her enough though at this crucial stage of growth IMO...

    Help with equipment

Right on,yea those could be called restrictions I agree. In either case if dude is going to be paying $250 for a set with a cool tube this is the same set up from the same company with a hood for $45 cheaper I'd say that's a no brainer

    Air intake

Oh gotcha, had to re-read, heavily medicated. Yea I don't see what you'd have any problem doing that. Give it a go and just make sure to keep an eye on the temps till you get it dialed in. I mean if you can keep the temps where you want why not?

    Air intake

The only thing you are gaining is being able to complete the same task using 3 fans instead of 4. So if you already have spent the money on 4 fans then I'd say your wasting your time re-configuring it unless you need a fan for something else.

    Help with equipment

Yea idk about restricting light, maybe it does, but I think the real reason is you get a much bigger footprint when using a hood instead of a tube. The reflectors on the tube are generally garbage unfortunately.

    Help with equipment

I found this yield lab set for cheaper and you get a cooled hood instead of cool tube...seems like a better deal. http://www.amazon.com/Yield-Lab-1000w-Reflector-Light/dp/B00FICG6YO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1454461990&sr=8-1&keywords=1000w+yield+lab+with+air+cooled+hood Also, I've tried one of...

    First non tent indoor grow

2000ppm is kind of high but if you don't see burn then you're be fine. If you prune follow what joe said & don't prune too much maybe only fan leaves that are blocking buds sites, etc. Also, just an inquiry, do you water with superthrive every water, & if so have you always done that?

    Re-using FFOF after synthetic nutes

Yea I figured it's pretty important since I see it in every organic or super soil mix. One more quick question, please excuse my ignorance, but is EWC and compost the same thing/are they interchangeable?

    Re-using FFOF after synthetic nutes

Right on, yea that's what I thought about the whole not skipping the cooking, I just didn't know what amendments you could skip cooking with and which ones you couldn't. Thanks for clearing that up. I'll probably just buy another fresh batch of OF/HF but keep this grows soil and then I can have...

    Re-using FFOF after synthetic nutes

So I had a question about reusing soil after running a grow with synthetic nutes. I have some 50/50 FFOF/HF right now that I'm about to finish my grow in. I've used some jacks classic during the flowering stage to treat some deficiencies. I got to reading about reusing soil and I wanted to try...

Why do people pay 1k USD more for an LED that does the same thing

Yea dude there are way too many "mars grow decent weed why would you pay the money, aka Mars vrs everything else" threads. Some people choose to pay for quality as opposed to getting a cheap LED set up (not using cheap in a negative connotation just saying they are less expensive). We know mars...

Yoda don't knoe... First time grow!

You can mist plants at any stage of life, it's not just for clones. Those leaves usually always die and fall off, I wouldn't worry too much about it the rest of your plant looks fine.

    my 24/0 vs 16/8 comparison

Growing indoors is unnatural true, but I think we can try and mimic growing outdoors the best we can. Idk, what do I know though, I've always ran 18/6 and it seems like the bushiness of my plants really depends on strain and what training I do which is usually a lot cause I like em bushy
