I use 2 foot long reptile uvb during the last half of flowering. No point using it the first half imo since the trichomes and potency happens mostly in the later stages of flowering.

That bulb wont work and will create loootttss of heat i have the same one as a basking light. That socket and holder will hold some cfl's/ go to home depot and get 1 or 3 y splitters and some more cfls. Or are you going to use a hps grow light for your new grow area?

Those lights will do for small plants but your going to need atleast 4 more for later stages if your sticking to cfl's. I would also put those 2 pc fans at the top of the box where the lights are and get a couple more pc fans or small fan to circulate the air in the bottom.

Firstly, that is too many cfl's for how big the plants are. I use one cfl per plant until the plant is about 5 or 6 inches. taking out a few cfls for now will help the heat issue. When you do start using all of them, your absolutly going to need some way of venting the air out of the room...

Is stealth an issue for you? And take that sheet metal out of there right away!! metal absorbs heat very well and will turn that box into an oven. Also those nutes will do..for a noob like yourself, buut your gonna need some different nutes for flower. Growing good weed will cost money. consider...

sunshinegirl, the important thing to remember with hydro is that it grows much faster than soil. The pruning info for soil plants you found will work fine as long as you take into account the difference in growth. ie. if it sais to top 3 weeks into veg than you should probably top at 2 weeks...

by 14/10 you mean 14 on and 10 off? A lot of growers actually do the last 24 hours in darkness as a final stress to the plant. The plant thinks it is dying and goes into final overdrive on flower production.

Adding a cheap 8 dollar airpump and a few airstones will in fact help cool your rez AND lessen your chances of root rot..(if youve got the ac going or good ventilation). You could even have the air pump outside your chamber, drill a few holes for the air tubing, and wallah! the pump would draw...
