New member- grow journal just started

Hi, good luck with the grow, I'm particularly interested in this one because I'm trying out a cupboard grow with a single Viparspectra 450, not expecting any real fireworks with just that one light, but it will be interesting to check out a grow using 2 Vipars at 600w. Like a poster above I...

    Unknown strain Day 24 flowering

Leaves too long and pointy to be a straight NL--lets say NL with a sativa cross

    Unknown strain Day 24 flowering

Nice plant, looking good mate, I did have a good look at the plant to see if I could maybe have a go at guessing what strain that might be---hmmmm--dosnt look like a straight indica or sativa, --some 50/50 strain maybe. buds look a bit Northern Light-ish

    First grow..vipaspectra 450w led

To keep things simple it hard to be as specific really--50/50 is what I go for but its confused by the fact that the buds at the top are loaded with ripe trichs while buds a little further down are still clear

    White Rhino Seeds?

I tried a grow of Nirvana White Rhino--tricky grow, average bud---but then again ---Ive smoked white rhino in an Amsterdam Coffeeshop and it was amazing. Ill keep an eye out for them

    First grow..vipaspectra 450w led

How do, watching here as I'm having a first go with a Viparspectra as well----6 to 8 inches from the tops you say---mines is around 18 inches so so maybe need to raise them--Ace your plants look great, thing Ive found is allow 10 days or so after the flip to 12/12 before you start your day...

    ScroG/SOG Northern Lights

Looking great, when I use the bio bizz range of nutrients and it comes time to flower and you switch to 12/12 most users will keep on giving bio grow in addition to bio bloom for a week or so. You may notice more lower leaf yellowing due to nitrogen deficiency during the bloom phase, so it does...

Looking nice mate, esp the second pic.

    MY Girls - LED

Not too many bud sites , but a nicely grown pair of plants none the less

How do these look? Time to water?

The pic you posted above, gives the impression you are a struggling newbie, your plants with the yellowing lower leaves show signs of needing nitrogen I reckon. And while the pic shown is a lanky specimen, the shadows on the wall show quite a display of quite healthy tall budding plants.

    White Widow And.

Of the two I prefer NL ( Usually Nirvana Fem seeds when I grow NL ) Big Bud is actually a heavy cropper as the name suggests and is well worth the effort, but I think NL is the better smoke and the easier grow

    Nirvana seeds

Ive never really had much problems with Nirvana, Northern Lights alone is an excellent Nirvana Strain, not sure about Northern Lights Haze. White Widow is a slightly more difficult strain but a great smoke if you can pull it off.Not sure why they are a bit cheaper but I've found germination is...

    Just a question

A totally organic fertiliser you can get in the major stores is seaweed extract--That's what the bio bizz range of ferts is basically. But people buy this stuff in big ten litre tubs, dilute it down , and water their garden with it. apparently it makes a trouble free organic fert-- a little...

    ScroG/SOG Northern Lights

Hey Man, You got it all going on, including some pretty funky concepts I never even heard of before, like that willow water cloning thing, that's a new thing for me. Also you're doing Nirvana NL, which is a great old school under rated strain. I love the detail you include in your posts, would...

    First Grow

Blueridge grower--you say above in the post with the pics that she is 42 days into flower - that makes you roughly half way through the grow--I'm sure you know that the claims made by most seed companies greatly exaggerate the grow times, if it says 65 days on the pack--add another 20--shes...

    Jock Horror Autoflower!

Good Luck Young Un, will keep an eye open for the goings on in here, keen to learn a bit more about autos, and if it turns out the way the other NL grow goes then it should be a good learning curve for us all

    First Grow

Hi, Just came across your journal and am mighty impressed with the way you set out to grow, you can see that this is just the first of many. First, Northern Lights is my favourite strain, must have grown it at least a dozen times, lovely steady groove of a weed, and tough as they come, you could...
