    White Widow Are these done?

I'd give them at least 10 more days, checking them daily for any rapid changes, leaf discolorations etc. Make sure they are well ventilated .. I'm sure checking trichomes is a handy indicator, I myself harvest 'when the fruit is ripe'. ... You can just 'tell'. It's a fruit, it has a peak...

healthy looking plant all leaves stretched straight up

Generally if they are pointing up and it is heat related, they will start to canoe upwards rather than just look perky. But heat is a valid consideration indeed.

healthy looking plant all leaves stretched straight up

Leaves reaching for light is generally a 'good' thing.. means their are awake and responsive and 'goin for it'.

Use hot hot water out of your hot water tank.. (let it cool of course). 'Generally speaking, that should be a pretty good free source.

If I cannot afford a root stimulator (Roots excel, GH Start) what should I use?

Certainly make 'handling' them easier than water.. not that it is a huge deal either way.. but ya, good point if you have it handy.

If I cannot afford a root stimulator (Roots excel, GH Start) what should I use?

I would advise that if you DO just use water, to make sure to put foil over the cup and put the plant stem through a small hole.. no lights to roots. Change water every day.. every other day at LEAST (oxygen). Keep in moderate temps in ambient light 24/7. Should work for you.. always does...

If I cannot afford a root stimulator (Roots excel, GH Start) what should I use?

Yikes.. while the essence of what you are getting at (it takes a bit of money to grow grass) I am all about helping and encouraging people to grow their own grass for as little of money as possible. I've been taking cuttings for well over 40 years (cloning) and outside of a few 'try this and...

    help? WHAT would YOU do

Yikes.. get them in some 'real' soil.. that stuff looks like you grabbed it out of the plant beds of an apt complex (no offense).. Start there.. get real soil. Get them stable, bend them over and tie them down, new growth will be vigorous and plenty, That's what I would do.. get rid of the...

    Flushing

I never sell grass, so I guess I kinda got lost in the question.

    Flushing

"We" don't.. some do.. some don't.. everyone has a reason. I would only flush if I screwed up my soil so badly I had to back out of it and hope for the best.. I 'have' flushed.. I'm certain I will again.. but they are few and far between harvests knock on wood. For me it is always a last and...

    foliar feeding ?!?

Foliar feeding is nothing new and is even applied to industrial scale crops. If done for the right reasons in the right environment it can be beneficial for some plants. That said, I am from the school of thought that you only need to foliar feed if you have issues to address.. Or rather...

    Low yields, need some help.

You didn't 'just' use soil did you? It 'helps' to have some perlite and or other medium to help aerate. If not, makes for long watering sessions, but still doable. I have grown quarter lb plants in gallon pots.. 3/4 ounce plants in a 16 ounce solo cup....

    CFL or HPS ?

By 'out surpass' I mean 'for your needs' not for overall yield.

    CFL or HPS ?

'Best' is relative.. How much space, how much work and more importantly, how much do you want/need. (not everyone needs a pound a harvest). There are times CFL will out surpass HID and vice versa, depending on your growing environment/needs and stealth (assuming).

    Low yields, need some help.

Noooooooooooooooo soil is easy.. ;) Nothing easier in fact.. Don't blame soil for people poisoning it by trying to love it too much, and then not being able to back out of their own damage quick enough. Soil... just water, feed occasionally and 'foggedaboutem'.

HELP!!! 1-week after transplanting clones and things are gettin' weird.

They look heat and moisture stressed.. I feel like a broken record today, so if you have heard it before, sorry. If that is the case......Don't know what you are going to do about your heat, but I would mostly stop watering them for some time until they are near wilting, and the next watering I...

    when will i see buds

When it does.. you can't rush Mother Nature (too much).. Often late bloomers are big bloomers. Make sure you have no light leaks and everything is groovy at night, and 'let her do her thing'.

    Multiple Plants vs. Single Plant

A guy like me, given the right conditions, hedging all my pro's, con's and liabilities, would feel pretty good with 2-3 gallon, well trained plants under it. Until I had a grow or two under it and things started getting tweaked by default and something else works out better for the time.
