Its only a few watts, it doesnt get hot enough to be a fire hazard, also, the bulb was not in its place in that picture, it stands away from the plastic board and away from the cardboard base too but thanks for your concern.

LOL me too, getting the 'vibe'.
I can't believe my camera is funked, no updates I'm sorry.
i have just put 6 abyss seeds into germination as I don't have a lot of faith in my clones taking root, I have 7 clones, 3 in rockwool with a glass tank and heat-pad for a propagator one in potting soil in same tank plus three in water in the window.

I think the ones in water are about to start rooting, if they do, then I will just stick with that method, it's by far the easiest and doesn't use any electric for either heat or light.
it's the method I have most faith in. I'm sure most people have the same experience but, when I was a kid, I (assisted by my mother) used to just take a cutting from a plant (usually a spider plant) put it in a glass of water and leave it in the kitchen windows for a week or two, then it would have enough roots to plant in soil.
Now, I;m trying to grow a weed! If I can't grow a cutting from a weed I should not be handling plants full stop!! haha that's my simplified theory, lets hope it's right.:hump:

looks good,b-mad...give those clones plenty of time, they may suprise y....+ rep
Man I have struggled with my clones, & I have lost a couple.

I have put half a dozen Abyss seeds in to germinate just as a back-up. So far that have been in for a couple of days. They have all cracked (two of them only just) and two already have a decent bit of tap root coming out so they'll probably be going in soil tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!!

I have managed to sort out something for my camera, it still won't upload pictures but I have got a memory-card off a friend so can now upload some new pics.
There is still something wrong though.
I can not edit the pictures for some reason, well, I can edit them but the PC will not save the edited version.

I have got another male (Eden) it took forever - or so it seemed - for it to show it's sex, the thing has been on 12/12 for about a week maybe even more.

I suspected that it was a male but Alice, my bagseed sativa now also looks like it's growing balls. I'm gutted about that as I really thought it would be female and give me some quality bud.

Anyway, I'm rabbitting on now so heres a pic of Genie, i will try to update with some of my flowering babies later.

I forgot to add, genie is now 30" and growing at about an inch a day, my plants on 12/12 are not as big as her, well, one is the same size but the others are smaller.

Charlie is on 12/12 and is drinking about 500mls of water and has needed watering every day for the last 3 or 4 days. Thirsty little bugger she is.

I will put some pics up later, she is more like a bush than a plant, definitely one of the stars of my grow.

Thanks for stopping by GingerBeer.
it seems that I solve one problem and another one appears.
I got my camera working again but was not able to edit the pictures on windows, I think I have solved that one now but, here is another. Genie has a number of her lower leaves with this same problem but most are not as bad as the leaf pictured below.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The plant (Genie) looks fine and is still growing, I am hoping she will recover just from the nutrients in the food I am giving.

Can anyone tell me what could be causing this, I have an idea that it is either a calcium or Boron deficiency but would like a second opinion and some advice on what to do to remedy this problem if it gets any worse.

No, don't even know what that is. I do have a home made yeast/sugar/water for co2 but that is in my bloom room, Genie is still being vegged and should not be affected by the co2.

What is confusing for me is that my plants (except Alice) are all the same strain and in the same medium the only difference is Genie is in a bigger pot.

could be root issues...how well does the bigger pot drain?
That's a good point. I used a bucket and drilled quite a few holes in the bottom and around the sides but the couple of times I have watered I have not had any run-off.
It could just be that I did not use enough water, i will probably be watering her tomorrow so I will use enough to get some run-off, it should really drain OK and the problem might just be a reaction from the transfer. I first noticed the browning a few days ago,
She has only just gone up to full nutes too so there have been a few changes which makes it harder to pinpoint the cause. The nutes are usually in every other watering.

There does not seem to be any new leaves affected, if things stay that way I will just leave it, I really believe that people often cause more serious issues by trying to solve one that isn't that serious.
As you will be aware, plants can take a few days to react to some situations and even longer to recover.

Ooops quoting myself now..... Edit....
