Norcal Outdoor Grow Finally getting underway...100g smart pots

Getting there JJ...slowly but surely. Cut up my cheese quake today. Trimmed the whole plant cuz of some worm damage. Those little bastards tore some shit up. But I'm guessing about 1 lb off of it with the damage. Oh well you win some and you lose some.
 
Great job man so what organic nutes are you using?
I'll be starting an outdoor grow next year and will be using blood meal bone meal bat guano potash sulphate and worm castings am I missing anything else?
 
There's all kinds of good stuff out their rick. I had a guy blend me a screened top soil with aged mushroom compost, worm castings, and perlite. Then I use maxsea thanks to doublejj and every other week I use budswell tea. Also use granulated kelp meal during veg. If I had room to make compost tea I definitely would.

Dude i love Budswell. first indoor grow i ever did back in 2006 i used that stuff. amazing shit tea isn't it? your pics are proof. and very affordable. how does the MaxSea compare in price? and what distributors retail the MaxSea... i need that in my arsenal next grow
 
You can find Maxsea at several stores around Sac. The best price I could find is Greenfire over by Watt & Bus80, but it's on the shelf at several of the local nursery's.

Yes JJ could better help you out on where to find Maxsea up in Sac. I'm in the bay area and there are a number of hydro shops that sell it down here.
 
right on. im constantly back in forth bay to Sac. im from Alameda by oakland so im familiar with those shops more than up here. I used to go to my boys shop in Hayward...Growers Choice, but looks like the building got burnt down. I go to 4th Street Hydroponics in Downtown Oakland tho as well.
 
I'm in San Jose...I called 4th street in Oakland and drove all the way up there one day and all of a sudden they we're closed and wouldn't answer the phone so I'll never go there again. Needless to say it was 1 in the afternoon. Ended up going to another spot in oak.
 
Small backyard trim today... 3 plants down in 12 hrs with 3 people. 3 more to go.
