Damn your dumb.
Yep. That's me.

Believe everything the media tells you?
Yes I do. Every last word. The media is fair and balanced, so I just think what they tell me to.

I hear so many things about Ron Paul whose ideas originated with the media! It makes me sick that they look at this guy as some kind of a loony when hes been re-elected to Congress for what like 30 years?
And every member of congress is completely sane.

DO you not understand how this works? he won delegates, the popular vote he lost by 8 votes, Santorum and Romney tied for first..Paul came in second and lost by 2%...

Ron Paul's Delegates stuck around..Now they are going to the RNC....This was exactly the campaigns plan and it was a victory..

Santorum...is not even on the ballot in a lot of states and doesn't have the backing to go national, the dude is driving around solo in a pickup truck...Evangelical Christians are fucking stupid to vote for him...won't happen everywhere..

Actually Paul lost 3,796 votes. Slightly different than losing by 8 votes. Santorum lost by 8 votes.

Amazing how mad everyone got when news outlets claimed if Paul won, it would be important to see who came in 2nd and 3rd. Everyone was screaming media bias. But now that the roles are reversed, you're more than happy to claim finishing 3rd is a victory. lol

Guess what. 3rd is not a victory when that is projected to be your strongest state. He could very well finish 5th in South Carolina and dead last in Florida. I suppose those will be some rare species of victory as well right?

i have simply repeated what the media has told us. 2nd and 3rd are where the real story is at ;)

That is exactly what i heard from the MSM too, that second and third place are where the race is at. But that was only if RP won, if he got second or third then the luck would be with the person who got first. And if he got 4th place then the luck would be with second and first and if he didn't place at all then Rick Santorum would come out of the closet. Pretty sure that is what i heard.

Here is my question:

Do you think Santorum will win any other early primary states?
not enough time in NH, so no.

SC is two weeks away, which is political forever. so, maybe. he has been to that state very often and may appeal there. gingrich could be a big factor there for the local factor.

florida is next, santorum may have staying power in florida as long as ron paul sticks in there and possibly one other candidate. huntsman? gingrich? both?

all the excitement in this race will happen soon. watch out for huntsman to make a huge move this week. he may be the anti romney. slim to no chance and next week will tell.

ok, so suppose santorum drops out and this becomes a head to head, romney versus paul.

romney's ceiling is much higher than ron paul's. he will win that every time.

but yes, you are right in the end. by simply getting enough people to vote for his message, he is in some way "winning".

just like charlie sheen was "winning" :hump:

Santorum made some seemingly insane statements about how we should bomb Iran this morning. That was entirely for the benefit of Florida voters. That's exactly what they want to hear. It's also exactly why Ron Paul will finish dead last there.

Paul has 7 delegates voting for him. So does Santorum and Romney. To get the nomination, you need delegates not popular vote? Which means a three way tie so far.

Its a victory because they completed what they needed to do, get delegates...its not some delusion..this is the campaign plan all along and of course getting 5th anywhere would not be victory...You need to google up how this whole thing works and then google the campaigns plan and see that it was a victory....sigh...You are the delusional one.....this is 25 of the like 900 delegates and Ron Paul got a piece of them....this is not a loss, they each get 7 delgates its a 3 way tie.

That's true, well expect for the words and numbers. It's projected Romney and Santorum will get 12-13 delegates each. Most projections say Paul will get no delegates due to the fact that Paul won no congressional districts. Although that is disputed. Some people say he will get 3, others 5. But a tie it is not.
