I have had buds that look so good I wanted to stick my dick in them.I used to run home on lunch for years to take a few bong hits. All I did was gargle with listerine before heading back. Nobody ever smelled anything. This was in an office environment with people sitting right next to me.
You're hand is going to smell like weed if you squeeze the flowers but that's easily washed off. And then an application of some scented hand lotion and you're good to go. Half the people on this site smoke all day long and interact with other people daily without smelling like weed.
There is just no way that you're going to be reeking of weed from the minimal contact you have with one 3 ft outdoor plant. It's not like you're out there naked hugging it.
Rec legal here but it is still a valid worry for a lot of people. In my line of work reeking of weed on the the job would get you fired and likely blackballed.I stopped worrying after legalization because everywhere I go it’s all you can smell now
Some people are super smellers. I like that. I agree with you and I’m wondering why that is? I find some folks reek of pot more than others.Rec legal here but it is still a valid worry for a lot of people. In my line of work reeking of weed on the the job would get you fired and likely blackballed.
Some people really are super smellers too. I came in from watering and walked past my wife the other night. She said “geez, were you out there rolling in it or what?” I had brushed against a couple of plants but wasn’t fondling them or doing naked hugging.
Now now don't be modestLol. You'd be captivated by my charm and youd want to keep me around.
Truth is I'm FN good at what I do and they'll never find someone like me.
I couldn't morally smoke for my work life. So I manned up and didn't smoke. I'm retired now and I grow and smoke.I appreciate everyone's input, truly I do. And of course I knew the risks of posting in this forum.
I will simply say again, be grateful you made the decisions you all did that got you to where you are that you can say and do the things you do.
Me, I pigeonholed myself into a career path that is my "only" path at this point in my life. And I work in an industry that is both cutthroat and unforgiving. One mistake, and I'm out, forever.
Call it paranoid, ridiculous, lame... whatever you want. I'm just trying to stay alive over here.
I don't want to wear a tyvek suit. But I had more fun growing the one plant I did, trimming the trash flowers, all of it, then I have had in decades.
I just want to keep doing it, it's so incredibly enjoyable, rewarding, theraputic.... but it might also get me fired. Therein lies the dichotomy.
I was referring to some people’s sense of smell - wife’s nose is much more sensitive than mine. Some people are super smellers. I like that. I agree with you and I’m wondering why that is? I find some folks reek of pot more than others.
First off, great video-song response. That was hilarious. Very poignant.I couldn't morally smoke for my work life. So I manned up and didn't smoke. I'm retired now and I grow and smoke.
What you’re experiencing is common, we all love growing pot, but it’s real addictive….I don't want to wear a tyvek suit. But I had more fun growing the one plant I did, trimming the trash flowers, all of it, then I have had in decades.

Guess I missed your point, but yeah some folks do seem to hang onto smells. When I smoke a joint, even I know I reek. Long hair makes it worse too.I was referring to some people’s sense of smell - wife’s nose is much more sensitive than mine.
But yes, some people do seem to have smells cling to them more too - bud, cigs, beer, perfume/cologne. Not sure why that is either.
Nice strawman you came up with. So now it's not cannabis, it's medicine. If you've been prescribed it and it's legal, why are you so afraid of someone smelling or finding something legal on you that you use for pain control purposes? Subterfuge begs the question of morality.First off, great video-song response. That was hilarious. Very poignant.
But please don't try to argue the morality of medication. I'm not talking about cannabis consumption before or during work.
But if I was, I guess it would be okay to use "prescribed" opiates and the like at work, would that be "morally" okay for you?
You opened up that door. Not me.Nice strawman you came up with. So now it's not cannabis, it's medicine. You are correct. And I stand by my words, as an expression. I won't really die, I can live without it. I was just having fun, come on now.If you were so concerned about “ marijuana odor “ why get all excited about seed drops and strawberry strains in your postings ?
Sounded like you were asking why Purp punch may not be ” terpy “ , plus your Oregon elite grab. Doesn’t sound like a person worried about “ loud strains “ .
Your words - “ I need every BBC cross or I else I will die “
