Thank you so much C2G! I really appreciate it. I know exactly the feeling you're searching for-I've never found that ceiling-less high in anything but landrace seeds. One of those was Vietnam Black, which I do have a single pack on pre-order from Snow High right now, along with his Colombian Gold, and Panama Red-all of which have a lot of potential. Blackbird Preservations sells pricey Vietnam Black repros too, which I would hazard to guess came from the same source. That's why I was interested. So far the NL #2 and #5 have been a nice comparison and wonderful blast from my past. Now that I have more seeds I can search down the genetic line at my leisure.
I would give a lot to find pure mexican brick weed seeds. The ones I casually tossed out. That clear, ceilingless high is something I've never found since then. Further it was weak enough you could simply enjoy smoking it and not worrying that unless you had max tolerance after three puffs you'd white out, like I had to warn the hub about C99.
I'm hoping I find that in the OH. Anyway love your journal, you do great work.
One thing I'd like to do is grow some of the Colombian alongside my other Ohaze line, just to look for similarities. Colombian has a warm, soaring, happy high, which is similar to some of the great mexican bagseed plants I grew a long time ago. I'm also interested in those old Mexican lines, and they are in such a precarious state right now in terms of preservation. I also love the old Thai lines, but I find I need to start slow when I start smoking a top quality Thai because the high is of a type that demands respect. It's great for getting stuff done!.
One of my all time favorites was some Nigerian herb that a friend of mine grew several years back. It had a super potent, clear high, but without any anxiety, so I've got my little ESB plant going now, and I have some Nigerian Sunshine on the way from Swami, and I'm trying to track down some good Nigerian landrace seeds too.
Don't worry, we will find your ceilingless dream plant, I have no doubt!
