Today I did more of the usual bullshit. But tomorrow we’re having a fifth birthday party for our youngest grandson. Cooking a brisket, I think it’s good to be a good day. Ohh I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it but we’re expecting a new granddaughter for Christmas…..on Christmas Day.

I just scored at the grocery store big time. 40# chicken leg quarters @.29 per# and pork spare ribs @.39 per# I got ten racks. I’m going to have more money tied up in freezer bags than the meat . NY strip @ 6.99 per# I got three packages of 4 , the rest didn’t look like steak I would want. I could literally hear my triglycerides taking off like a rocket as I was ringing that shit up.

So i put a cable across my dive that work's from my house if anyone come's in and not suppose to be i can press a button and pull cable tight so no on can get out or will total out there car or truck . Braze a stud in place and use a nut on the manifold.

Thank you for the advice. I'm considering using a step stud to match the threads that are still there and smaller diameter threads going through the manifold. That way if the bolt is not perfectly aligned to the hole it will give me a margin of error to work with. Thanks again.

My accomplishments were twofold today

Mixed 30 gallons of growing mix, 12 gallons reused. Usually go a little more but my mix was getting a little high on the drainage side. Good work out for this oldie. Watered down with water rich in Molasses, very warm already.

Morning knee bends done. Also collected 25 gallons of rain. Hooray!

Went to urgent care so I could get an MRI scheduled which needs done before I can get an appointment with a pain clinic for my back. Hopefully the imagery place will get back to me in the next couple days.
