    Who knows about your grow?

My wife and my brother. Not that I don't trust anyone else, many of my friends are trustworthy, it's just that people tend to say things unintentionally and before you know it people know that you didn't want to know. Keep it to yourself is the best practice.

    400W Alaskan Thunderfuck SCROG

It's been pointed out I've been remiss in describing mods during the grow, here are a few; added two small intake/circulation fans (80mm PC fans) to the clone/mom room, added small exhaust fan to the utility room (110mm PC fan), added a stand to raise the canopy closer to the light and reduce...

    Carbon Scrubber

Saw this DIY setup a long time back, was going to try it for when I indulge :bigjoint: It's just a fan on top of a 5 gal bucket, the bucket has layers of filter and activated carbon then exhausts via the holes in the sides. Add a dryer sheet or potpourri if you like. Not my idea, I take no...

    General Grow Box Questions

That's a good guide but it doesn't go quite far enough, I know it's long but here's a good thread and also a great place for ScrOG questions/pics Enter The ScrOG Feel free to check out my ScrOG journal, it's linked in my sig. It takes a little more work but the results are worth it I think. Let...

    Newbe questrion about lighting

I can't seem to keep track of where I find things but I ran across this chart on a forum somewhere, full credit to the original poster "CaliGrower". This doesn't consider heat or reflector/hood effects on coverage. This illustrates what Snow Crash was saying also.

    Newbe questrion about lighting

That could be true, part of that is the reflector but with a good air cooled tube or sealed hood it should be alright. I use my wrist (like checking a baby bottle) under the light to test the heat.

    What is this from?

That looks like you splashed some nutes on the leaves, nice looking plants btw.

    Newbe questrion about lighting

Your reflector will influence that somewhat as it dictates the coverage area to a great degree and a good rule is no closer than is comfortable to your hand. Opinions vary of course but I understand "optimal" to be about 10", a 140K lumen bulb will provide 64K foot candles at that distance. Of...

    General Grow Box Questions

It's do-able in that space, depends on a lot of other factors as well. What type of lighting, ScrOG, SOG, etc. soil or hydro, CO2 enrichment to name a few. Good luck and post a thread with the result.

I'm not associated with these guys at all and if you've seen this please forgive the "spam" but I think this software is fairly slick. Not very well documented but it didn't take but a few minutes to figure out. I've done away with notes and paper calendars and I think it improves my security...

    400W Alaskan Thunderfuck SCROG

Been a while since I posted anything here, a couple of pics are always nice. Seems to be some interest in my cabinet, honestly I've changed it some but based on feedback I'll do a build thread on it with all the gory details. edit: that's one of two 2 sqft screens - 37 days in flower

Speckled Leaves, Spots turn Brown after Time

Yeah looks like some parasite - aphids, thrips, spider mites, white flys, assuming your pH and ppm are in line. Saw something similar w/ a copper toxicity once but the spots weren't that yellow.

    Do These PH Testers Work?

The best "cheap" one I've used is the little red/black digital Hanna (model 98103 I think), about $30 but you'll need to pick up some reference solution, mine needed calibrating at least once/week but it does offer replaceable probes.

I do believe I have root rot Plz help

Clean your reservoir, flush w/ H2O2 and pH'd water, add a bigger air pump and/or air stones. That looks bad, hope she recovers.

    any idea whats wrong here?

Looks very high in N and deficient in Fe & S, could be a lock out. I agree w/ the other guys, flush and give just pH water for a few days.

Humidity 85% when lights off any help?

Little Tommy is right, fresh air but if the room air coming in is that high you can use small dehumidifiers that come in a can or a sac, usually silica gel that absorbs moisture. Usually available at Wal-Mart and such, very cheap.
