oooh that smell... unknown seeds first grow Will the stink subside any? as it dries

Once you buck them and get them into jars to finish curing you should be good to go... but they will only smell better, and better... and better.... :) Please do post some pics. Did you notice whether they smoked more like indicas, or sativas, or a mix? Heady or body high?

    A-51's: Multi-Strain; Multi-Lights

Nice jungle :) I'm excited to hear how that Tangerine Dream smokes, I recently got my hands on a really gnarly tangerine-smelling indica and loved it, but alas did not get the name. Keep it up, I'll be watching.

MamaKush First Post-Prop 64 Journal ; Soil Under BlackDogLED

Some pics from day 10 of flower. A couple of shots of one of my lights, Black Dog Platinum XL U. And one of the garden... Sour Diesel, tall and lanky along the right side of the pic, Sour Kush in the middle and back left, OG Kush in the front left. Nothing really notable to share at this...

MamaKush First Post-Prop 64 Journal ; Soil Under BlackDogLED

Here are some pics from two weekends ago, some friends and I trimmed up 12 plants. First, here are some pics of the flower tent with a couple of the plants to be harvested left in. The younger plants were just flipped into this space, so they’re in week one of flower for the next round...

    LED Flood issue

Gotcha :) Anyways, in the same vein as testing with a reliable driver, would using a multimeter to test the output of the current drivers be telling at all (for my own knowledge)?

    Procyon 300 beta testing

Nice looking garden! You're summer set up sounds interesting, with the Area 51's. If at all possible, I'd love to see a picture of all of your lights, in order to better picture the combination/layout you've got going on up there.

    LED Flood issue

If you're referring to me, then yes. Just offering a thought, because it sounds like an overheating issue. I agree a higher quality driver is a great option to test to see what's really going on, I was just offering my two cents.

    LED Flood issue

I'm not very savvy with things like this, but maybe a small fan blowing across the exposed driver when running? Maybe the air flow would help to keep the driver cool, because if they're all turning off it does sound like a safety mechanism.

what to do for led bleaching?

I like 18 inches for my 750 watt panels, myself. What wattage are those panels?

    The ULTIMATE Flowering Spectrum

You're right, I was thinking about the statement in a different way. Thanks for clarifying.

    The ULTIMATE Flowering Spectrum

I would argue that this statement only applies in the short term. Yes, a plant may be reasonably happy staying under the same mediocre spectrum (this is purely hypothetical, I'm not referencing any particular spectral source here) it's whole life, and yes, it may temporarily lose some vigor if...

    Thoughts about Light .

My opinion: the region of light plants use is high intensity (high frequency?) enough to penetrate into plant tissues and low intensity enough not to lyse the cells which make up those tissues. Another theory, a bit outside of the box: perhaps the earth's atmosphere, during the majority of...

MamaKush First Post-Prop 64 Journal ; Soil Under BlackDogLED

We’re nearing the end of this cycle. I’ve got some nice flushing pics here. Let’s call these pics week 9, with the first bit of flushing at week 8.5. Bubba Kush. Sour Kush! I may or may not have prematurely trimmed a nug or two from this plant for sampling. Sour Diesel. Bigger picture...

    The ULTIMATE Flowering Spectrum

Thank you, that did help me understand more about how your unit measures, or rather, qualifies, intensity. Anyhow, I'm along for the ride. Interested to see your results.

    The ULTIMATE Flowering Spectrum

Nice pics on the last page, Sour D is a nice looking plant. I've got some growing under LED in my journal, link in sig for inquiring minds :) Does your spectrometer give a read out for YPF, PPF, anything like that? My understanding is that spectrometers are great for measuring light intensity...

The ULTIMATE flowering spectrum hps + led

I'm not very familiar with Kessil. Are you using 6 different Kessil units, or 3 with 2 wavelengths each (or 2 with 3 wavelengths each, for that matter)? How tightly grouped do you have them to your HID? In my head I'm picturing a large 1000w HID panel with Kessils around the perimeter. Agreed...

    Led Users Unite!

I have a friends who grows non-medical plants. He doesn't need the same intensity of light that we MMJ growers prefer, so he has several "smaller" panels on a light rail to get the desired coverage without burning his plants. Works wonderfully.

The ULTIMATE flowering spectrum hps + led

Interesting. I would also like to see an image of the panel and how it's laid out. I would lean towards a less-powerful HID and more powerful LEDs in order to reduce that zenith in the yellow area. But to each their own, interested to see what this spectrum can do.

MamaKush First Post-Prop 64 Journal ; Soil Under BlackDogLED

Thanks Karma. Any hopes of a journal of your indoor garden? I like a good outdoor grow as mush as anybody else, but I really enjoy seeing what people do with LEDs.
