Ok.. while I don't know why they would say that, if so, then do it the ol fashioned way. A (the most tiny pinch) of baking soda, PH UP.. a drop or two of lemon/lime or any type of vinegar, PH DOWN.. and ya, it's safe to use in a pinch.
I was in California two months ago and was given a lb of just about the best stuff in the world..
Times they are a changin.. Myself for example, I haven't spent a penny on grass in years and I have not bought nor never sold any.
Grass to me has no monetary value. I grow what I want and toss...
Hi..
Heck, in this area the deer will eat your whole fields if you let them..
As for how I myself prepare my own grass.. I reach over and snap a bud off and stick it in my mouth and savor it.. I am not kidding when I say 'I crave it'. Very good, very healthy. Been eating raw grass for over...
Very strain dependent.. Some literally tastes like duff.. Oddly enough (or maybe not so odd when you consider they often share actual terpenes that can be found in some fruits), fruity smelling strains usually (to me) are the best tasting strains.
I have a Blue Magoo to die for.. I eat it...
I mostly ONLY eat raw grass these days.. or rather about 50 percent of what I grow, get's eaten right off the plant.. right in my mouth.. I LOVE the flavor of my strains and it is much more smooth than a shot of tequilla.
I highly recommend people start eating more raw grass.. it is a great...
I myself would never take a single cutting from a plant that size unless I simply had no choice but to try. Not much there to work with or be left with when you'd be done.
Don't sweat it.. A single Fender Twin amp draws (120v at 3 amps) 360w ... Gaming computers are more than that.. if your blowing up the apt with 400 watt, THEY have issues, not you.
Nuthin fancy for me.. this is pretty representative for my norm of late using CFL and Miracle Grow 'All Purpose' from start to end. Only other thing I have in my bag of tricks is a simple PH litmus test, alcohol and h20.
Miracle Grow? Get's the job done. Cost? I dunno.. I bought a box last...
I use those same 1 gallon pots for my entire grows sometimes.... it's all in how you grow and what it is your trying to do.
Someone before me said to wait a bit longer.. you said 2 weeks.. I agree with the cat that said to wait. If you do transplant them give them a bit longer for a bit...
The plant knows what it is doing.
At this point in flower, unless you are running out of room or worrries about burning, I would just let her do her thing. She has put her energy into dotting all the I's and crossing all the T's.. no need to set her back and try and reinvent the wheel this far...
When I feel like a little UV, I stick em out in the sun for a few hours.. when I can I like to stick them under sun for a day or two before harvest as they always seem to just 'know' and they put everything they have into it one last time. Although it probably is more my imagination, I still...
With the super big cuttings, just make sure to keep them out of any direct sunlight.. off the side of a non sunny window is good for a few days.. just hanging out in a regular room with the light on far away (so it still knows it is day) at night. THey will almost always take if you don't rush...
Why don't you top a foot off and clone that and let him worry about the plant it's self?
Very early into flower.. take some big clones and work it..
Just one guy's thoughts.. a big clone might grow quicker than snapping a dug up outdoor plant (with extensive roots) out of the shock you will...
Ya, the soil .. what gives?
I tend to agree that some plants are slower and just give it time.. then when mentioned,.I looked at what you had it growing in and started thinking hmmmmm.
When you do whole plant dry's, the cure is in the extra week after you think it is completely dry. You only THINK it is brittle dry, toss it in a sealed baggy for a few days, there is still plenty of moisture kicking around. It crumbles like it is dry, yet has an obvious moisture content and has...
After years of doing this I have discovered one truth.
Once in flower, this plant will do everything it can to provide the biggest buds it can for it's environment. If the plant feels a leaf is getting in the way of being the most productive fertile plant it can be (buds) it will get rid of...
You want the best smell possible?
Do whole plant dry/cures.. (just hang them for a few weeks, and then about a week longer).
Then cut/trim whatever and BAM.. you'll see a total difference.
---
When you cut and hang a whole plant, it actually stays alive and continues to do 'plant things'...
If I am in a hurry I LST ... note the holes around the side of the pot.. twist ties or pipe cleaners with a bit of bending and pinching over here and there.
