It is as hard for me to watch Tucker Carlson as you mentioned earlier it was for you to watch that video from the Black and Brown Democratic forum.
But it wasn't 2 hours long so I got through it. I have a real life example of what the Black guy was saying. Me and my wife pulled up to our house a few years back and there was a cop that pulled over the kid next door, I have no clue how long they were pulled over for, but at that point they had him in handcuffs and getting put into the back of his car.
My neighbor was super nice, played football at a local school, his dad was a pastor and too was a great person who would do anything he could for his neighbors.
My wife didn't want me to get involved, but I couldn't stand by, so I went out and talked with the cop, turned out his tag was expired and he arrested him because he wouldn't let him drive a car with expired plates, which was two houses away from his house. After a couple minutes the cop said he would release the kid into my custody but he would be getting a ticket and had to go to court.
The kid was really just devastatedly worked up about how unfair and embarrassing it was that he was targeted like this on his own block, and I could tell it broke his faith in our community being fair to him. They moved a couple months later.
What that guy in the Tucker Carlson video is getting at is, where was the rest of the neighborhood? They watched this poor kid get dragged out of his car (the cop did say he was polite through the entire situation too), handcuffed, and arrested and nobody else stood up for him, nobody else even stepped out of their own house. How can he trust that when push comes to shove anyone in that community would be there for him?
Same with friends, Black/Brown people have had to learn that when push comes to shove, they will be the ones most likely targeted and too many people will save their own asses to not get in trouble, so they need to be careful.
BTW, the biggest reason I have a strong dislike for Tucker Carlson is his pushing the most race baiting topics that are designed to stir up white angst, ones that when you follow the rabbit hole online lead to the most racist websites on the internet.
And having the POTUS tweet them afterwards is unbearable to me:
