i saw the challenger explode live on TV too, and i saw NO PARACHUTES. nobody i know who also saw it saw parachutes.
some people hope so hard that they see what they wish, thus the assertions of one "eyewitness" is as reliable as the observations of a two year old child.
the challenger went from situation normal to freefall so fast nobody could do anything to escape. they were still inder the multi-G force of takeoff acceleration, trapped in their seats untill they dump their solid rocket boosters.
they were fucked from the moment their match was lit, they just didnt know it.
the media lies to us regularly, and those lies are often the result of bad info, wishful thinking, and ignorance. the nefarious deliberate plans to create deliberate falsehoods are far less common. but thats mainly due to incompetence. they have been caught lying so often, the charges of being "a fringey nutcase" are starting to wear thin.

I have to agree with Buck here. I think those that pushed the idea that Sandy Hook was a conspiracy are the ones I find most vile, me being a real gun rights supporter and all. Not only do we have the gungrabbers to deal with in the reality arena, but then we have the conspiracy assholes making all us gun folks look like idiots.
I lose hope for everything with each passing day.

I don't think it was a government but really think they are going to try to take advantage of this, couple things going on right now:
*New Cyber legislation going through which violates our privacy
*War with Iran/North Korea
*Republicans start propping up Obama Care
*On the lame stream media they are suggesting because of this that we need more cameras
*The Gun legislation shit
so basically more privacy rights taken away, war profits, and bigger better police state. Win Win situation.

yes they ran medical experiments. on people, but not people who were considered citizens. in the 30's negoes were not considered people, in the 60's they did experiments on soldiers with their "consent" and in the 70's with basically harmless (mostly) bacteria. none of this equates to massive coverups to conceal the existence of martians, faking the moon landing, concealing the "Flat Earth" nonsense, covering up the "Hollow Earth" bullshit, or creating "chem trails" for some inexplicable reason.
most of the conspiracy theories are double bullshit. bullshit so thick and rich it can serve no purpose but as a convenient rubbish tip upon which to dump anyone who really asks a serious question about how and why our government has become so unresponsive.
it would not surprise me one bit to learn that alex jones is on the payroll of the feds cooking up this silly shit as a smokescreen to distract the truly stupid, and act as an automatic ad-hominem against real dissent.
but im not a conspiracy nut, so im not claiming that, but if some documents popped up it would not be at all surprising, except that it would show remarkable ingenuity on the part of some government bureaucracy in choosing the most preposterous stooge ever.

im pretty sure glenn beck is just batshit crazy.
Rush believes what he says, you may disagree, you may even say he too is crazy, but please, lets reserve the phrase "Crazy As A Shit-House Rat" for those who have truely earned it, Alex Jones, Troofers, and yes, Glenn Beck.
