You may find that shocking, but even Trotsky had it all fucked up. Authoritarian socialism can never become communism.
I fucking love communism, authoritarian socialism not so much. Marx called his process scientific, but it produced Lenin and Stalin. Totaliarian bad.

dreamers dream, but the Marxist dictatorships were intended to be a method of reaching the goal you have espoused.
nobody signed on to Marxism to get stuck for 60 years in a totalitarian socialist state which never delivers. they signed on for the DREAM. thats why they hurled their bodies at the barricades, but those who were running the show FUCKED THEM.
this is why Marxism has failed so utterly and consistently.
this is also why the Bolsheviks airbrushed Trotsky out of history, before they stuck an icepick through his ear. Trotsky wanted Socialism to progress to the Communist Utopia, not remain mired in the Stalinist state forever.
this is also why Fascism was developed, to ease the proles into Marxism with the final goal being Communist Utopia, without the violent revolution which just wasnt selling.
propose your method for acheiving the dream of Communist Utopia without violence, authoritarianism, force re-education, and deceptive marketing practices and you just might get yourself a statue in the town square.
