Like CFLs with plant and aquarium lights? I have two 48" plant lights and I'm planning on buy a few CFLs to ad more light. The type of light isn't exactly the same, but both are good for vegging. What do you think?

I've been using it. My plant looks nice. It's about 1 1/2 months old. But do you think using only potting soil will work? It supposedly feeds for up to three months. And with transplanting, new soil gets added. Should I at least add a little sand and maybe some clay to retain some water?

I don't have city water. I have well water. I've been using distilled, but is well water better. I know with city water you have to evaporate the chlorine, I was wondering if there was some slim chance that well water was better than distilled.
