    Rdwc help

@Dr. Who is spot on as usual. Your ppms are way too high, pH way too low, and your reservoir temps should preferably stay in the 60s. 70s is fine for ambient room temp, but a res in the 70s is just begging for all vatieties of root pathogens.

    Led harvest

There are many instances where HPS is preferable to LED. They tend to perform better in colder climates, they tend to perform better in humid climates, and they are certainly a more affordable option in terms of intial cost. That being said, they are in no way a superior technology to...

    Led harvest

Also, I'm not sure how just under 6 ounces is an ounce or so over a qp. Are you rounding off the extra .85 of an oz?

    g/Watt by Lamp?

Why does everyone get so angry about lights? Everyone's misdirected rage is exhausting. There is a reason that reasonable, logical, and helpful people are disappearing from this forum.

DE HPS Spectrum Shootout 2100k vs 4000k vs 6000k vs 10,000k Commercial

Maybe he unlocked the secret sauce of perfect spectrum. Dude is growing space weed that tests at 45% and doesn't want to share the technique! What a doo doo head...

    COB / QB yields

I think gpw has gone out of favor as a metric because there are a ton of factors that can affect it that don't have much to do with the actual light. SCROG and SOG for example can produce really high gpw even with kind of crappy lights. To try and answer your question, I've been using my QBs...

Help choosing a Good led.light for my space

@Budzbuddha speaks the truth. The HLG Quantum Boards are fucking amazing. 120s, 288s, 304s... all of them are great lights. Match them with the right driver and you have an outstanding grow light.

Help choosing a Good led.light for my space

Also, 100% do not grow 12 sativas in a 5 foot tall tent.

Help choosing a Good led.light for my space

I think you could just as easily light a 2x4 with two 288 v2's and i think it would be a bit cheaper. I believe 200 bucks was the stated budget.

    Are my plants ruined?

Nice looking first grow! As stated above, a bit of disruption to the light cycle won't cause any problems. Just make sure it doesn't happen regularly. If your GF can't wrap her head around your plant's need for 12 hours of dark you may have to leave the tent zipped up during lights off. Is...

Anyone Running any thing New this Year.

Looking good! I'm actually running something fairly old in the new year. Growing some pre 1991 skunk genetics that i have been holding on to for some time. Out of the 10 or so seeds that i have i tried to germ 4. Only one popped but its a girl and i have a buddy running some clones of her so i...

    When should I chop.

If you have to chop the whole space at once you shouldn't be running Indicas and sativas at the same time. You'll end up doing a great disservice to that haze by chopping it early.

    Sexing

If you are keeping an eye on them there is very little chance of screwing up. Cannabis plants will nearly always clearly show their sex well before they are sexually mature enough for any pollonation to occure.

    Led harvest

This plant produced just under six ounces under a single HLG QB 288 @ 135 watts with almost no training. It never fails to make me laugh when luddite trolls continue to assert that LEDs suck. Seriously, how long are people willing to make themselves look ignorant.

First indoor grow in 15+ years and need some lighting advice.

The pre assembled HLG 300 is still cheaper. Not quite as good of a form factor for a 2x4 as the light you bought though.

First indoor grow in 15+ years and need some lighting advice.

A bit on the pricey side and they don't list what kind of diodes they use or any umol/joule efficiency data, but it looks like a decent light. Have you already finalized the order?

Fluence Spydr X Plus or Amare Solarbar SB800 for 8x4 tent?

I'd recommend an HLG 550 v2 over the Fluence. The HLG is a bit more efficient (2.5 μmol/joule for the HLG versus 2.3 μmol/joule for the Fluence) and the HLG is 500 bucks cheaper. Don't get me wrong, the spydr x looks like a good light, but if you can get similar output with better efficiency...
