    another NEWBIE asking for help!!!!!!

Yeah thats a good point. You do have to keep splattering to a minimum with those systems when the plant is that small. So leaf damage from nutrient splash combined with an EC that was undoubtedly way too high..... problems. Personally i let my seedlings get quite a bit taller that that before...

    another NEWBIE asking for help!!!!!!

I own waterfarms. Done several runs with them. Its pretty hard to overwater. You almost have to try to do so. The drippers don't put out that much unless you hook up a bigger aftermarket pump. Plus hydroton holds little water. As you said... he nuked it with salts and that is what we need...

    another NEWBIE asking for help!!!!!!

I'm almost positive that is a hyrdofarm he is growing in. If so, we can stop speculating about over/under watering. Also, he clearly states in the OP that it is indeed an autoflower. It's great to try to help new growers, but you have to actually read the entire post and make sure you know...

    Small fluffy buds

You don't even need a $500 led to grow dense buds. You need 2 things, genetics that are predisposed to create dense flowers (some strains, particularly sativa dominant ones will be sparse and fluffy no matter what you do), and a dialed in environment. This means adequate light, water, nutrients...

    need lighting!!!

Hot and high. I won't quote exact figures because I've never run one, but they are in the same neighborhood as hps/mh from what I've read.

    need lighting!!!

If i had the extra space and the height I'd love to run one of those, but I'd never be able to get it far enough above the canopy. Sadface.

    2x2' Veg Lighting

For any application that requires regular feeding i have been using megacrop recently. @Dr. Who turned me on to it. Cheap and effective.

    2x2' Veg Lighting

That plant was transplanted twice. Started in a solo cup, tranplanted to 1 gallon pot and fisnished up in a 5 gallon smart pot. I like this method for living soil as it allows me to start in soil that isnt as 'hot' and step up the ratio with each transplant. Also provides a fresh supply of...

    2x2' Veg Lighting

Thanks! 4 weeks of veg, topped twice. Was grown in organic living soil that i cooked up myself so it was a water only grow until about 5 weeks of flower. Just did a bit of top dressing to get it to the finish line when the nutrients in the soil were pretty much exhausted. If I'd have scrogged...

The 260w QB kit will flowers a 2x4 very nicely and fits nicely into your budget. That extra foot of width in your space might mean some ppfd dropoff in the edges.

I was grossly underprepared for harvest.

It's true... the Doctor knows his stuff. Been growing for a lot of years and i still go to him with questions on occasion.

    2x2' Veg Lighting

HLG Quantum boards are better in every measurable way than blurples. Penetration is good, efficiency is off the charts. Quality of the finished product is every bit as good as anything i got with HID. 2 pictures from my last run... this plant was grown in a 2x2 space, and was under the...

    Advice on plant in veg

You can flip whenever. Waiting until the plant is physiologically ready to flower (3 to 4 weeks of veg time in my experience) will lead to a faster transition, but people actually run 12/12 from seed all the time. Just leads to smaller plants. Personally, with most strains i shoot for a 3 to...

    Advice on plant in veg

Like i said.. plan on the plant doubling in height. So figure out how much distance you have to work with. Keep in mind the space taken up at the top of the tent by lights and filters etc.

    Advice on plant in veg

You plan on vegging that for 2 to 4 more weeks? How tall is your tent? Going to do any training? I'm asking because if you veg that for 2 to 4 more weeks it is going to be a monster when you flip to 12/12 and it starts to stretch. A good rule of thumb is that a plant will double in height...

Fabric pots - lookin' to make the switch.

They both work well. I personally use smart pot bags (the only brand I've ever used) and they have treated me very well. Thinking about giving air pots a try just based on durability. I find the bags tend to have a limited life span compared to most other types of pots.

Noticed bananas on one off my plants!

It may just be that the pictures are a bit on the dark side, but it looks like that plant may be getting a bit too much Nitrogen. Nitrogen excess can cause stress during flowering and stress can cause nanners. I'd love to see that plant under brighter light so i can tell if I'm full of shit on...
