    PPM/PH Facts

To the OP... i think you had great intentions in posting the information and insights and i think the vast majority of it was accurate and helpful. I'd only recommend that you try to exercise patience and understanding when you encounter conflict. It'd be a shame to lose an obviously...

    PPM/PH Facts

I will definitely agree that attitude is a huge part of information exchange. Nobody wants to engage with someone who throws fits when their facts are called into question. Best way to ensure a complete communication breakdown is to act like a dick. I still think there is a lot of insecurity...

    PPM/PH Facts

To clarify, my ramblings have nothing to do with the OP. I can see why people would have a problem with the attitude that seems to accompany the knowledge in this particular instance. :bigjoint:

    PPM/PH Facts

I have always gotten along very well with you and i think for the most part you are helpful and friendly, but this is exactly what i was talking about earlier.... Why is there so much scorn thrown at people who are intersted by the underlying processes of a particular phenomenon and decide to...

    PPM/PH Facts

This is all true. My father was the first generation of my family that wasn't a farmer and i grew up on farms. I wasn't specifically referring to your post when i said what i said, just a general comment on society at large. We have far too many incurious, lazy, entitled, and arrogantly...

    PPM/PH Facts

Some people like to deep dive into a subject (people like me) and some don't. As long as the information is correct and presented well i will take all i can get. Some people only care about results. Either way, there is no reason to shit on those who are inquisitive. Lack of intellectual...

    Small fluffy buds

This is extra funny because you know literally nothing about science. You have proven it over and over, and yet you still like to throw the word around because you believe it makes you sound like your opinions have any merit. The people with actual degrees in relevant fields consistantly laugh...

Is there such a thing as too much quantum?

I run my QBs in the 45 to 50 watt/ sq ft range with great results. I've seen people make it work as low as 25 and as high as 75, but for me, that 45 to 50 range seems to be the sweet spot. Good luck.

Also, thinking about doing a hydro run in the same setup. Damn near 50 watts/ square foot of high efficiency diodes over some waterfarms.. rDWC BITCHES! It'll be a damn jungle in there. @Stephenj37826

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I've got a 288 @ 135 watts and a 96 elite v2 @ 100 watts in a 2x3. 47 watt/sq. ft is definitely a bit of overkill, but the plants are loving it and growth is explosive. :bigjoint:

The driver that comes with the single 288 135 watt kit is perfect for one board. Yes you can run it wide open if you need to. Mine runs at full power for all of flower and i uave had no issues.

Buds bone dry on outside.. stems still damp!!

This ^^ Definitely do this. One of the biggest things to learn about drying for a new grower... the outside of the bud will always start to feel dry well before the entire bud has reached the appropriate moisuture content. I've seen a lot of bud ruined by mold because it felt a little crunchy...

    Hlg elite 96 wiring help

I think they can work well as a cob analog, but i agree that if you ran them at the bleeding edge of their power handling capacity you probably wouldn't be best utilising them. I feel like the sweet spot for the 96 is probably how HLG runs them on their HLG 360 fixture.

    Theism= Thought Addiction

I'd have no issue leaving people to their superstitious if they'd stop trying to turn their archaic views into legislation that negatively impacts us all. While it is true that a post on RIU isn't going to change the socio-political state of things in the world, neither will complacency and...
