@Doer - Were you / are you suspecting something like powdered/crystalline acetone peroxide as the explosive/high explosive used? The reason I ask, fits the profile for sensitivity in terms of where it had to be utilized.. given that it's quite susceptable to friction, shock, heat, and who knows what else.
Well, I don't really know, really. But, it can be handled with dry ice packing (you'd better) Some of the early reports suggested it was a typical use for a pressure cooker. You carefully make the stuff at low temp, in the vessel. Not having to pour or sift is a lot safer. It is precipitant power of those 2, as you already know.
They said is was connected to a wood board. I assume that to be the stand on the board edge and you aim the cooker claymore with it.
